About this deal

It’s pretty good – flavor’s decent, vapor quality’s decent, vapor production’s decent. Everything is decent or slightly above average, and it’s not very inexpensive. I did get this one sent to me for free from Planet of the Vapes but I’ve been dealing with them for a while, I liked that store, I send people here all the time. The XMAX Starry V3 has been created with quality in mind. It features an aluminum outer case and an improved ceramic zirconia mouthpiece, providing a pure and delicious vapor. The mouthpiece can be easily assembled and disassembled, allowing the vapor to cool down faster without affecting the taste. However, unlike the Freeze Pipe, you won’t need a glass rig or bong. Similar to the Freeze Pipe E-Nail, you can dial into your specific preferred temperature. The OLED screen on the XMax Starry 3.0 conveniently displays: The POTV XMAX Starry V4 dry herb vaporizer shines with slow, easy-going sessions that light users and beginners will really enjoy, but might not satisfy those seeking large, cloud-driven rips. With the quality and consistency of its previous iteration, this vape offers users a familiar experience and worthwhile updates and improvements.

XMAX Starry V4 is a fantastic option for those that want a strong, effective portable vaporizer that’s easy to use at home or on the go and won't break the bank. Adjustments are easy to do and rather intuitive, plus if you forget how to turn it on the display reminds you. The default auto-off is 4 min and in that time frame it doesn’t get too hot to hold and the mouthpiece is just fine but I was feeling there was always more to get out of the herb. However, if I go to 6 min, even at 190 C, the device gets much hotter to nearly being too hot to vape and hold. I did up the temp for a couple of pods but anything over 200 C is really unusable for me at 6 minutes unless I used the silicon mouthpiece. So be careful, or you’ll really burn your lips.I even bought the 5 capsule accessory so I can load them all up at once and have them ready to go. I also love the super-fast heat-up. I usually start my temp at 190 C so the herb cooks well but doesn’t get scorched and it gets to that temp in a matter of seconds. The adjustable airflow is nice in theory but at lower temps, I really didn’t find it necessary. The vapor was cool enough, and the draw was just fine. At higher temps, it may be beneficial to open the airflow to cool the vapor more but it didn’t really impact it by much for me.

Before we dive into the specifics of vaporizers, let's start off with covering the basics. The three most common types of vaporizers are e-cigs, dry herb vaporizer and concentrate vaporizers. If you are looking for an e-cig (for e-juices), try another Google search as you won’t find those in our shop. If you are interested in getting a dry herb, or concentrate vaporizer, well done, you have come to the right place. Vapor production when using the Starry 4 depends greatly on how you use it. The airflow control provides a fair degree of flexibility and affects performance depending on how you utilize it. For example, having the airflow wide open lets you take some long deep direct lung hits that can produce some lovely vapor. Alternatively, reducing the airflow significantly results in dense sips or vapor suitable for mouth-to-lung vaping. It’s actually quite surprising how much that little addition of airflow control improves the experience when using the Starry 4.Meet your new power companion, the Xtar X2 Battery Charger. This charger will be a crucial component in your vaping routine, offering great compatibility with a variety of battery types including 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion/IMR/INR/ICR and 1.2V Ni-MH/Ni-CD.

Some available Starry 3.0 water pipe adapters will work with version 4, but not all due to the slight differences between the two models. Additionally, it’s pretty easy to DIY something with a bit of silicone tubing and a glass 18/14/10mm adapter as well if you were so inclined. So while you won’t get the best experience running something like the Starry 4 through water, it will let you push things a little harder for some reasonably heavy hits that would be challenging otherwise. Is the XMAX Starry 4 Portable? The first thing I personally love about the device is the dosing capsules. It keeps everything neat and cleaner than just loading dry herbs directly into the oven. You still get some residue on the mouthpiece but it's very easy to clean and I don’t notice any change in taste. When we think of dry herb vaporizers that truly deliver the goods for the money, the XMax Starry 3.0 is one of the first devices that come to mind. This vape features an impressive temperature range of 100-240 degrees celsius, and with its removable 18650 battery, you never have to worry about running out of power when you’re ready for a lengthy vaping session. If you have a spare battery and an external charger, you can vape with one battery while charging another. This is a device that’s always ready for the long haul. Top-Notch Materials for Unprecedented Flavour Quality Not too long ago, all full temp spectrum was not industry standard, and cheaper devices like this one only came with a handful of temp options. Nowadays, a full temp spectrum is standard, and most portable vaporizers will feature a wide range of temperature options.

For best results

The Starry 4.0 features a 2550 mAh battery which is replaceable, meaning it can be swapped out for a fully charged 18650 battery when out of power. The V4 also allows users to plug in the updated USB C while the chamber heats up, so you can use it even if it's at a low battery as long as it's plugged in. Keep in mind if the device is off and plugged in, it will not turn on, so it does feature pass-through charging, but only if the device is powered on before plugging it in. Decent Build Quality However, sometimes I want a hit that’s more reminiscent of a roll-your-own where I take a small sip into my mouth and then inhale it. This is where I close it all the way for a tighter draw. It’s a little more relaxing for me and I can really dial in my dosage when I'm going for more precise effects.

The device's ergonomic design fits comfortably in your hand, while the magnetic Zirconia mouthpiece ensures decent airflow and functionality for inhalation, it is important to mention that the inside is lined with silicone and as a result does not provide the flavour purity that one would expect from zirconia. . Using a high-quality external charger is generally recommended whenever possible, and thanks to the removable battery and the improved battery door on the Starry 4, this is easy to do. Charging the battery via the device takes around 90 minutes, which is a reasonable amount of time for a single 18650 battery like the one used by the Starry 4 to charge. Is the XMAX Starry 4 Easy to Clean?

You should get the XMAX Starry V3 Vaporizer if…

I heard V3 Pro gets more bowls out of the battery because of it's optimized heater setting. and people do not realize CONVECTION does require longer slow to medium inhalations roughly 10s ~ 20s to get the botanicals heat soaked with radiant heat. I used to own a desktop whip vape and it would take time to heat soak the botanicals but once it got going the flavor was extreme, you wouldn't want to combust any botanicals.
