Because Harlow just can’t be pregnant, she has to be pregnant with a serious, life-threatening heart condition and somehow end up okay. As with the other Rosemary Beach books, the whole gang makes an appearance, and as a huge fan of the series, that only enhanced my experience of reading it. Why have her have this serious heart condition in which having a child could kill her if she’s going to be fine?

The pregnancy could be bad for her and she is told that she might not make it through so instead of telling Grant that she’s even pregnant, she leaves and hides away with her brother. So, dive in, brace yourselves for your heart to be stretched to its limits, but know that you’ll be alright in the end, because there is no greater romantic among us that Ms Glines herself. Glines did such an amazing job of building emotion, longing, pain in the first part of the book, that when they finally see each other again I was breathless and ecstatic and nervous all at once.

The only thing I liked was Nan donating blood to Harlow, but overall, this was a frustrating book to read.

Other than people freaking out because she insists on having a child, she ends up fine, with nothing other than a coma. I loved this story, a lot of people were disappointed in where Grant’s first book went, but I felt like this book completely redeemed him. In the end of the last book Harlow runs away, after Grant finding out her secret and having a bad reaction.

She did an amazing job, and as hard as her choices were she definitely had the love and support of her friends and family. Everything after happened so quickly, as I said before Blaire and Rush; best friends anyone could ever want or need. Harlow's not doing much better but I guess it was a bit more understandable as to why she was staying away.
