About this deal

I felt that Antonia was such a well behaved child but my heart went out to her as no child deserves to be treated to feel unwanted as her mother makes abundantly clear. She learned to disappear, to hide in the shadows, to make herself so small and stay so silent that they forgot she was in the room. The hula hoop was cheap to make and had become an enormous fad, and had already made the company a lot of money. Invisible relays the story of Antonia Adams, a woman who provides a glimpse into the film industry thanks to her life story.

Her step mother was wonderful but the dad was still ignoring her, even he made her to feel no space for her at home. Talk about a disfunctional family, mom and dad were a total mess, and it is truly amazing that Antonia turned out so completely good and normal.I read my first Danielle Steel novel back in 1977; I was a big Danielle Steel fan for many years and could not wait until her next novel was release. When tragedy strikes, she must decide whether she will remain center stage or retreat to safety once more. Antonia’s ambition to become a filmmaker never abates, but a tragedy forces this talented woman to make a decision about where she is better served. Antonia's relationship with Hamish felt a little weird because of the age gap, but I know it worked for the formula of the plot.

She’s the daughter of an aspiring actress and a businessman and grew up in a home where she was neglected. She would sit alone in her room for hours, reading a book, or playing with her dolls, or just daydreaming and looking out the window, wondering about the people she saw walk by.When she saw other children, she wondered if their parents fought like that too, but she would never have dared to ask. It had been patented seven years before, and he had purchased a large share of the company that produced it. She had no living relatives, but seemed undaunted by her circumstances, and was certain that she would have a career as an actress one day. Investing in the company seven years later made Brandon a lot of money too, with their newest products and his other investments. She had no grandparents on either side, and both of her parents were only children, as she was, so there were no important adults in her life, except her parents.

I only made it to chapter four and had to stop, the repetition was so blatant that it felt like I had memory problems and needed a constant reminder of events that happened on previous pages as I continued to read. The strong focus on telling the story rather than going into a full explanation or degree of depths of events was evident yet again in this release. When her father found out she was offered a role in a movie; he was irate and threw her out of the house. This is not an easy read like all her books, but if you love a hard hitting book you should give this book a try. Unprotected and unloved, she learns that the only way to feel safe is to draw as little attention as possible, to be invisible. Her father blames her for his wife’s leaving and buries himself in his work, neglecting poor Antonia.

When she is 7 and her mother walks out on them to be a big Hollywood star, her father becomes mean and distant to her because he sees his wife when he looks at her and cannot dispelled the rage he has for his wife.Fabienne had chatted easily with Brandon Adams while she served him, and asked him where he was from. She took the summer job, even though she was not able to learn much about her passion, she enjoyed it. There is a narrowed focus on the film industry, with a specific look at the screen writing industry.
