Recently I battled to get rid of one wart, I was very surprised as this has never happened to me, but I think a healthy immune system is important for thuja to work, and I think maybe adding a multivitamin might help. It should also have no detrimental effect on the skin, but if you do develop concerns, stop using the Thuja cream and the signs should soon settle down. If your dog is well in other respects, I suspect it might go by itself in time (though if you have used Thuja by then, it could be said it had "worked"! It has been aproximately a week of applying (carefully) on my eye lid, and a few days only on my chest.
