The pads are vinyl and pretty nasty, my ears will get sweaty under this one, and many users have performed a 'sock mod' on these to improve comfort. As previously mentioned, the padding is not the best, and I’d be inclined to look for alternate pads if you plan to have these as your primary pair of cans. Samson SR850 semi-open studio headphones might not be the most beautiful, but they sure sound incredible.Standard fare here comes in a retail box with good graphics and info on it, completely inoffensive cheap and to be honest a tad boring. The HD668B and SR850 are my favorites; they sound great with everything and I'd take them over headphones costing up to 50x as much.

i heard that those 2 has a very bright treble and some people find it aggressive, but people said the same for ZSN Pro X but i don't find it tiring to listen at all, in fact i quite liked it. I picked up this headphone a few weeks ago and this is the first headphone that ive owned and im not much of an audiophile so i will not be able to give much comparative value but i guess ill just put my quick impressions of it here and let you guys take it as you like. All of that is fine together, but it's a bit of a strange combination, especially after listening to so many open backs with more air. It’s not recessed or hidden by the lows or highs and has enough presence to highlight vocals and instruments accurately.
