The covers have been simplified to a background/setting compared to the well-known covers of Celeana in her assassins and/or training garb and the dresses on the back (which, quite fairly, I adore). I am one of the thousands of people who read this book on Fictionpress several years ago and fell in love with it, and I am counting down the days until it gets published. Whichever way you decide to read this magical adventure, just know that you will fall in love with it and become utterly obsessed with the world and characters!

Throne of Glass is an eight-part fantasy book series that follows Celaena Sardothien, a deadly assassin that is freed from the salt mines of Endovier. But, all is not what it seems and it soon becomes apparent that the corrupt and tyrannical King of Adarlan is keeping a deadly secret. She has no love for the vicious king who rules from his throne of glass, but she has not come to kill him.

As I was heading back from the Yorkshire Dales, I decided to pop into the Waterstones in Manchester Arndale to visit their installation. If she defeats twenty-three murderers, thieves, and warriors in a competition, she will be released from prison to serve as the King's Champion. It was revealed that each of the eight books has had beautiful new artwork created for both the paperback and hardback versions of the story.Having waited for a long time to see on Sarah's blog that this would be published, I almost started crying when I found out it would be--the only reason I didn't was that I had gone quite numb from excitement. Maas released covers for the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, and now it finally looks like it’s the Throne of Glass series’ turn for a revamp. And if you’re one of those people who can’t justify that kind of money on a book, I would get the original covers while you can.

I’m obsessed with Elorcan (Elide x Lorcan) my favourite book couple and I would quite happily read an entire book series about those two!
