In addition to world-class hardware, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is a huge step forward with the software experience for flip smartphones. across the diagonal, it’s much larger than the one on the Z Flip 4 and it’s in portrait orientation as well, meaning you can use it as a normal phone screen – at least to a minor degree.As well as the ability to launch full apps, it also aims to let you add widgets designed for the standard home screen. From this screen, you can take photos, check the weather, look at your diary and set timers along with adding a Tamagotchi-style pet for a bit of pointless fun. This totally new form factor allows for novel photographic and cinematic expression and an improved user experience. The cover screen is the best implementation I have seen yet though, and OPPO has put a lot of careful thought into the flip phone experience with cover screen widgets being a standout as well as the selfie camera experience something that I wish all phones could do. OPPO is touting its latest generation of Flexion Hinge, the tear-drop-shaped hinge mechanism used to open the phone.
