It's a rather "dense" manga (as in lots of panels and a lot more small moments captured than in your average manga), so I felt like it had a certain depth. It's a sweet story with pining, romantic tension, uncertainty about the future, and fear of reaching out to grasp another's hand. Whether it is falling in love, being promoted, to eating pancakes, Togawa suspects it is all too daunting for Nozue. Nozue gets a smartphone, and, as thanks for taking him out to restaurants, he offers to cook for Togawa at home. If Nozue were a girl, he would probably love to to share stories or take sappy pictures with Togawa since he is a nice guy.

Where a saying is that regret is nourishment for one's happiness, the fuel of life, Togawa would like to help Nozue in igniting his passion, and with helping him find his happiness. So many people in this world like Nozue get to a certain age where they feel like it is too late to do what they want with their lives and this show essentially reminds you that is never too late to pursue what you want to do, try something new, and have some fun while you are at it.
