About this deal

It takes removing seven screws just to remove the front plate and change out the artwork. With that removed, it takes another nine screws to open up the chassis. Given that the original Panthera popped up with just the push of a button, this feels like a downgrade. Yes, you can use the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma on PC. To get started, simply connect the controller to your PC via the included USB-C to USB-A cable. The controller's drivers will be automatically installed and you’re ready to go. You first need to connect the ground to the breakout. Take one jumper wire and plug it into any of the top 8 pins (I'd recommend just putting it into the far left pin for ease of access). Now plug the male end of that wire into one of the Breakout ports labeled "GND," and screw it down with the very small flathead screwdriver. Breakout PCB Wiring In some instances, a button brand or model does not have a 24mm equivalent with art cap. In this case, we will cut to the default size of Sanwa 24mm insert. Pressing the buttons on the edge will tilt them slightly, and then the friction from the buttons’ sides against the housing prevents some of them from going down all the way. In some cases, the button wouldn’t even actuate. Given that the original Panthera buttons would actuate with the lightest glance, it came as big surprise that I could run into this issue.

Do this by using a very fine-point object like an Exacto knife to lift up the Small Tab and pull the wire out of it, with the male end looking like This. But, I’m not a seasoned fighting game veteran, and don’t have perfect form. Occasionally, I get sloppy and don’t hit the buttons right in the center. And, the Panther Evo’s buttons have what seems to be a quality-control issue. SAN FRANCISCO– Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today unveiled Razer Panthera Evo to further support the fighting game community and improve their line of high quality arcade-style controllers. Razer’s software platform, with over 50 million users, includes Razer Synapse (an Internet of Things platform), Razer Chroma (a proprietary RGB lighting technology system), and Razer Cortex (a game optimizer and launcher).

Pushbutton manufacturers such as Sanwa, Seimitsu, Crown and GamerFinger have each produced specific models with a clear or translucent plastic cap and flat plunger. These are often used to display a graphical insert, allowing you to enhance the button's appearance. That said, each button manufacturer has designed the artwork cap with a different diameter than their competitors. For example, GamerFinger's artwork cap has a diameter that is slightly larger than Seimitsu or Sanwa. An insert cut for a Sanwa artwork cap will fit loosely when inserted into the GamerFinger artwork cap. This is an undesirable result that can produce a white or colored ring around the insert. The artwork, a large blue Razer logo, is essentially the same as the original. The big plus, this time around, is that the artwork can now be changed easily. This print came out way better than I expected! It's heavyweight, excellent quality, and the colors are true to what I expected! Thanks FA! BinaryDigit

Essentially, each of the 8 pins on the bottom row goes to a specific button, while the top 8 pins all go to ground. Ok, so I searched EVERYWHERE on the internet for a tutorial on how to add kaimana LED's to a razer panthera, and there was only one post by u/carpedro from about a year ago. That post laid some very important groundwork on how to approach modding the panthera, and also gave some information such as button diagrams and other important discoveries. However, some of his explanations were a tad confusing, and some things in the tutorial could be simplified to make the whole process a lot easier. You're basically done! To make your life a billion times easier, use two of the screws you set aside from the beginning and screw down the razer pcb with them. Use the remaining two screws to secure the Breakout to the other holes in the case. Just make sure not to screw down the breakout too much, as there's no protective casing at the bottom, and you don't want to accidentally damage it. Zip-tie or shove the wires in whatever way you please, and you're good to go! If you're confused on which way to plug in the harness into the Mini, just plug it in so that the empty pins are on the left side of the Mini, like This.
