About this deal

This might just be the best release of 2004, I am gutted they reformulated and placed it in a new bottle.

The scent profile itself is good but the longevity... I spayed this fragrance on my arm an it was gone after less than an hour. A bit of a bummer that they changed the formulation, I haven’t smelled the new EDT release but many people say it doesn’t smell as good as this one. Will have to give it a try eventually, but at least the Parfum version is there and it’s very solid too.The only downfall to Code EDP is projection and performance. Although, not bad...it's projection and performance is mediocre for being an EDP as Code EDP doesn't project off the skin enough and has somewhat of a thin feel --- but never feels fleeting. If these shortcomings were amped to perform like a true EDP. Code EDP would be a much better fragrance.

I started to wear tester of Armani Code EDP, and now I reminded first impressions I had while temporarily owning Code EDT some time ago, so here goes my very first review of one of my very first experiences with fragrance world. Projection: Original EDT (2017 batch) seems to project out a little bit more (1-3 hours) due to more alcohol in an EDT concentration Sometimes, what I look for as my collection grows is uniqueness, and Armani Code is no exception: Take everything you know about fragrances with bergamot and lemon, now imagine something citrusy with a dark twist, elegant, smooth, out of the ordinary. Armani Code has you feeling like you are smelling something very special.

Code EDP is a sensual fragrance, ideal for dates or romantic outings, or office work, because it is not intrusive either, also to be used in cool or cold weather, in autumn and winter it is an excellent option. It is a fragrance easy to like, for people who enjoy sweet and vanilla fragrances. Longevity: Quite good. Its on my clothes for a few days after a couple sprays. On my skin without moisturizer, 4-5 hours per application, I'd say.

Armani Code EDP is richer, fuller, slightly spicier, but only lasts 15 minutes. Literally 15 minutes. It opens with a TON of vanilla. Too much for my taste, I thought this would not be for me at all. As it goes on however the vanilla becomes tamer (but still prominent) and it is joined by lavender and citruses and becomes very nice and balanced. Another thing that’s weird about this one, is that the sillage wears off after a few hours, but the next day if I haven’t showered yet, I’ll get very strong whiffs of that sweet animal smell throughout the day, even though when I smell my wrist or try to find the smell, it’s not there. It just randomly appears here and there. I never wore the vintage. The current version is truly fantastic - it very much has a sparkling, "cola-esque" vibe when it opens, and it dries down to a very pleasant balsamic-anise-powdery scent.

Even to my untrained nose this smells almost nothing like LeMale Perfume. They have similarities but LeMale is more on the unisex side while this is more masculine and smells sharper(in a good way) Smells luxurious. I think anyone catching a whiff of this would know right away that this is an expensive fragrance. A beautifully-blended spicy citrus with a lot of personality. I get what I would call persistently moderate projection. Meaning it doesn't project far, but it pushes off the skin for an above average length of time (2 - 3 hours).

Batch Code 38UD00G, the elegance and class this exudes with that star anise and leather dominance is simply brilliant. The note accords in Code EDP are pretty much blended to perfection. Providing a very high quality scent that will likely appeal to "everyone" that catches whiffs of its sillage. Additionally, Code EDP has a sh1t load of swag appeal as well! I buy the armani code after some years , my last bottle was in 2018 ..I am big fun (my family worked in L'oreal Greece) the Armani code was my signature scent in school for 10 years 2005-2015 , after i start buying and others fragrances like spicebomb , ysl , etc etc ......

For my nose the ingredients work against each other don´t have that blended quality like in the OG. I used to have the Profumo flanker, but got rid of it because it was just too overbearingly sweet to me. Longevity doesn't seem enormous, but 4~6 sprays should last you a good 6 hours or so. So, you could say that it's an underperformer FOR AN EDP. Otherwise, it's just fine!
