BB-8 is likely to be popular among kids but personally I think that, from the selection I've been sent, the Classic one is more impressive. In addition to a classic figure two alternative heads are provided, so you can switch them out to suit your mood. The watches have been redesigned recently and now all incorporate a mini-minifigure on the strap. Older ones came with an actual minifig and studs on the strap to which it could be attached -- and promptly lost once you started moving about.
