About this deal

It was nice to find out a little bit more about her life experiences, lessons learned, and how she got to where she is now. It's a reminder of who you are and what you have achieved. The last two letters at the end of the book ("to my younger self" and "to my older self") are very moving as they are really universal and something we would all tell ourselves. You deserve the absolute world even if right now you don't think you do. You are enough, and you CAN change your life and make a fresh start if you want it. Instead of trying to understand that I’m just a bit different I’ve often felt like I’m seen as a bit unusual, felt a bit misunderstood or I’ve wondered myself if I’m doing life a little bit wrong.Anyway, the book. I LOVED IT! ‘You do you’ is like one of my go to sayings, I say it all the time to the parents who come to the baby classes I run, you do you, don’t worry about anyone else. So when I saw it was the title of the book, I knew it was going to be right up my street. Charlotte’s content doesn’t stop here, as she also shares gorgeous, heart-warming pictures with her partner, Harriet, and their two sons, going on family adventures, enjoying days out and having fun on holiday – they never fail to put a smile on our face with their endearing family content! But so disappointed in this book, I read it in 2 nights not because I enjoyed it so much but, but because there’s so little content. It’s very repetitive

This is like having a chat with a friend a little bit older than you that is in another phase of life and who honestly and truthfully gives you the best tips she has learned so far without putting herself on a pedestal. This is a companion book that can really give support and just say that things will get better. The book explores different areas of life from body, relationship, home, work, mental health. It is simple but very beautiful.

History Makers: Female Writers Dominate the 2023 William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award Shortlist I'm not sure what the 1 star reviewers were expecting, to be honest. Complaining about how it's written, etc.. We need to remember Charlotte is not an author writing a novel she's just a normal person sharing her life experiences.
