This makes sorting your rubbish effortless, with one side used for recycling and the other for standard waste. Removing the recycling half is challenging too… You can’t recycle the binbag, so have to remove the waste to put it in the wheelie bin. Alternatively, you can remove the bin bag then tip the contents into the wheelie bin before reusing the bin bag. It’s a shame the bin doesn’t have a hard plastic shell which can be removed and reinserted. LONG-LASTING BATTERY: This bin keeps battery life 20% longer than usual (requires 3 D size batteries – not included).Space Efficient – Although a 40-litre capacity is on the larger size for a kitchen bin, the slim design of the simplehuman allows it to be a space saver.
