Vanquish 250 - Valiant Vanquish 250 - Valiant

Designed to circulate heat in even the largest rooms, the Vanquish 250 offers unrivalled output pushing out up to 90% greater airflow than other stove fan models. The quiet, cool running motor provides superior quality and maximises fuel efficiency. Powered by the heat from your stove, the Vanquish 250 does not need any batteries or mains power. If you’re looking for a way to take the efficiency of your fireplace or wood burning stove to the next level, you should strongly consider getting a Vanquish 250, by Valiant, and vanquish those cold winter nights for good! Stove fan equipped with such sophisticated devices could operate using nothing but the heat from the stove, which is great because that means no added fuel costs. Also, these devices don't need to be charged or recharged. They don't produce any pollution. They work silently, and pose no health or environmental hazards. Some manufacturers even claim that their products reduce the total cost to operate the stoves, and reduce emissions by burning up to 14% less fuel. That's the kind of performance that speaks for itself. While it’s certainly true that you can find less expensive stove fans on the market today, this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. Valiant has been in the business for a long time. Their design and engineering is top notch, and their fans will last longer and serve you better than most models offered by other companies.

Without a fan, a lot of heat generated by a stove is lost as the air rises directly vertically. However, a stove fan uses its blades to divert the warm air horizontally filling the whole room as opposed to the area directly between the stove and the ceiling! The one think I would like to be able to do, but can't, is to compare it directly with other fans .. Vanquish themselves make a cheaper 4-blade fan which may be comparable, don't know. The Vanquish 250 is the latest in a long line of stove fans by Valiant, and with each new generation they introduce, their design sees further refinement. This fan is the most powerful that the company has made so far, capable of moving an impressive 425CFM (cubic feet of air per minute), which makes it suitable even for very large rooms. We don’t believe in hype, with Valiant you can be sure that the product you are buying is fit for the purpose it has been designed for. We don’t overstate the product features but rather present the facts and let the working products speak for themselves. Valiant don’t pass on cheaper imported products. With Valiant, quality is in the design. It is this property of stove fans that dramatically improves the overall efficiency of the wood burning stove or fireplace. If the fan required an external power source, then most of the efficiency gains would be eaten up in the act of supplying the power needed to run the device, which makes them something of an engineering marvel.

As the air inside the fan heats up, the miniature Stirling engine expands, and the piston is thrust upward; as the air cools, the engine contracts and the piston is forced down. This cycle repeats, essentially moving the hot air up and out of the fan and into your home, rather than towards the ceiling. The fan is designed to circulate the warm air created by your stove into larger than average sized rooms. Which means you will no longer be fighting over the arm chair next to the fireplace! These Stove Fans are also self-powered, using the heat from the stove to generate power so no batteries or mains power are needed. The Vanquish stove fan is protected from overheating by a strip of bimetal fitted in the fan’s base. Standing at 25cm, the Vanquish is the tallest fan in the Valiant range and can also deliver incredible power. Combined with the slender aerodynamically designed blades, the Vanquish delivers optimum air movement, pushing out more warm air into your room and heating it much more efficiently. These fans are pollution free, contain no environmental hazards, and have absolutely no health risks to humans or animals. The five star category is "amazing", which its price just stops me short of giving. Probably a little harsh by me. Read full review The secret to the Vanquish 250’s massive air moving capability lies in the design of the unit itself, and the two fan blades. Thanks to Valiant’s engineering expertise, they’ve been able to design their new fan so that it moves up to 90% more air than other fans of comparable size, which is impressive indeed.

When buying partner items like this one, your contract of sale will be with our Range Plus Partner instead of The Range. It is well made, looks fine on the top at the rear left ( not spoiling the look too much), angled so that the air traverses over the long diagonal of the stove top), starts at 50C and works fine up to the highest tempera ture I generally run at (c250C).The Vanquish 250 has unrivalled output pushing out up to 90% greater airflow than other designs in the market as its especially suited to larger rooms. The quiet, cool running motor provides superior quality and maximises fuel efficiency. Fortunately, several bright, forward-thinking engineers came up with a solution to that – the stove fan! Another thing people constantly rave about, especially where Valiant fans are concerned is how quiet the operation is. If not for the fact that you’ll feel drafts of warm air moving about the room, you wouldn’t even know the fan was on unless you were literally sitting right next to it. They’re that quiet! The Vanquish 250 has unrivalled output pushing out up to 90% greater airflow than other designs, making it especially suited to larger rooms. The quiet, cool running motor provides superior quality and maximises fuel efficiency. The Vanquish standing at 250mm high is the tallest fan in the range, this, combined will the slender aerodynamically designed blades gives it the optimum air movement which pushes out more warm air into the room - perfect for those with the larger stoves wanting the very best product and performance. The larger Ventum III retains the same trusted platform as the Premium 4 blade fan (which is still very much in the range) and stands 199mm high. The main difference for the Ventum III is its unique triple blade design that reduces fan noise, which is an inherent effect when moving air. The design reduces noise while maintaining effectiveness, the output is the same as Premium 4. The Ventum III blades have a greater pitch, which like the Ventum II blade, scoops more air which is propelled forward creating less turbulence (noise).” Bob Sizeland comments, “As a trusted manufacturer,Valiant constantly look for innovations that offer improved efficiency and sustainability to our customers. The Vanquish 250 is a perfect example of this; providing a solution for customers who have a larger space to heat.”
