Orangutans have an arm span of just over 2m. Their long arms and hook-shaped hands and feet make them great climbers! Shy misfit Eddie Albert tries his best not to stand out, even though he has a spectacular secret – he can talk to animals! The book sounds amazing I wish I could get it and it sound as if you have a great life you must know and I must admit I haven't even heard of this author but he sounds great.keep writing! I love animals and have watched some of Paul O'Grady's programmes so I was excited when I saw this book by him. It's a great story about a boy called Eddie who can talk to animals. He has a dog who he can talk to and along with his other pets, they get into an adventure which is funny and gripping at the same time. There is a villain in the book who Eddie and his Aunt have to defeat and it's great that there are plenty of laughs as well as a brilliant storyline. I really wanted to keep reading to find out what happened next and couldn't put the book down! You will love this book if you love animals and enjoy a good adventure story, along with comedy.... A boy called Eddie can somehow talk to and heal animals. He ends up staying with his Auntie in Amsterdam with his pet dog, two hamsters and two goldfish! They have to rescue an orangutan and it all gets a bit wild! O’Grady has been commissioned to write another two books in the children’s series, but scoffs at the notion that he might be a latter-day Enid Blyton.

I loved this book and it is now my new favourite book. I loved the plot and how there were many cliff hangers and some very funny parts. My favourite characters are Dan and Jake because they are very funny.
