Possibly time to rethink the cable run - you don’t want to create a long term hassle as HDMI cables do fail and or become obsolete. What about 'active optical', like this AOC one? It has detachable connectors. Is the Micro to Standard connector an acceptable solution? Any compromise in performance at this length? x.v.Color is an expanded and wider array of colour that includes colours that are not found on the traditional television.
I seem to only be seeing solid core on 100m roles. Would you know of any ready made cables at the length I require? Hybrid Fibre cables combine copper conductors (carrying the low bandwidth Comms and signalling signals) with Optical Fibre (carrying the High Bandwidth video and audio signal) - that means no conversion of the signalling signal (to and from optical) which we find makes for a more reliable system. I assume you mean this Ruipro one? The problem I know I will have is running this through conduit. These long ends are problematic given my restricted space, and I don't think this will fit. The HDMI 2.1 spec says that you can do up to 50 feet BUT it will have signal loss and degradation, so they recommend staying in the 15-20 foot size to get the best use of the spec.

At 6m (18') I'd try a Premium High Speed HDMI cable first depending on the diameter of your conduit. 4k HDR work fine with passive Premium High Speed cables.
I'm looking for a 6m HDMI cable, which is on the edge of what's acceptable I'm aware. Ideally looking for something I can feed through conduit easily, and this one caught my eye; Fibre cables often come with detachable full size HDMI connectors with USB dongles for external power - the two part hood is handy when installing the cable in a conduit but we have found they are also far from reliable long term. I don't have my projector yet, but would like something 4K capable, as this cable seems to provide.
