Realizing that his son just wishes to prove himself, Orfans is about to give permission when he is informed that Anisphia and Euphyllia have already set out. Like many shounen mangas, the story focuses mainly on the male protagonist, but Hiyori is never presented as subordinate to Yato, instead she is the catalyst for the action and given a strong, prominent voice throughout the series that isn’t made to feel secondary.
