About this deal

What tips I used…One huge plus is that the case actually gives plenty of room for 3rd party eartips. Please trust me, this is fantastic and refreshing to see. 85% of tws cases within the hobby give little room for any tip changes which, quite frankly I cannot stand. I went through a number of tips. Kbear 07 tips did well, Final E-tips worked nicely but what I landed on was a set of ultra-wide bore shallow fit tips that are pretty common in the Chi Fi world. I have zero idea where I got these, but they have a very firm flange which makes for a fantastic seal on the ear opening. These tips seemed to open up the CP3 the best and brought the mid-bass a little closer to the ear while adding some depth to the sound to a degree. The included large size is good to but slightly less stable in my ear. However, since the app only lets you adjust the sub-bass, you still get occasional warmth from the upper bass, which disrupts the balance in the sound. Midrange: Uneven and thin Game Mode (Low Latency) I was glad that Soundpeats added a game mode to the CP3 repertoire. Game mode is simply another way of saying low latency mode. Truthfully, I really haven’t had any lip-syncing or lag issues. Videos always seem to be spot on and even more so with game mode turned on. The toughest thing for tws to get right are games and more specifically first-person shooter type games which have plenty of action going on. The CP3 fares pretty well as I didn’t find gunshots to be too far off at all, even in the commotion of a battle scene. Soundpeats advertises the game mode to lag at as low as 70 ms, which if true, it is humanly impossible to notice any of that lag.

The Capsule3 Pro use the latest Bluetooth 5.3, which ensures a reliable close-range connection between your transmitting devices. The IPX4 rating means that the Capsule3 Pro are secure from minor splashes. This means they will be reasonably resistant to sweat and some raindrops. However, there is no dust ingress protection. Software 88.4 ⓘ In Capsule3 Pro, you get 9-band EQ with +/-6dB, which sounds good, but the band frequencies are all over the place, preventing you from making the sound better. Using this custom EQ helps a little, but it doesn’t resolve the most problematic frequencies. You can fix some of the unevenness using the EQ, but thin vocals remain. Also, you might expect some sibilance. It isn’t piercing, but it’s there. Treble: Lovely shimmer but could use more presence As its latest release, the Capsule3 sits at the apex of all of these developments, incorporating premium features with exceptional sound quality. They feature active noise cancellation powered by a six microphone array, LDAC support for high-res wireless audio, enough battery life to last a full work day (with some sacrifices), powerful audio driven by a large dynamic driver, and even a low latency gaming mode that’s fast enough for first-person shooters at your PC.Nach dem Anmelden in der App und dem Anlegen eines Kontos wurde mir ein Hörgeräte-Test angeboten. Die einzelnen Frequenzen wurden mit steigender Lautstärke abgespielt. Multipoint support is absent, which is a letdown. Fortunately, LDAC is supported, and so is the latest BT 5.3. Waterproof 75.0 ⓘ

Sub-bass and very deep notes are well covered by the extension of this TWS but we would not rate it as a class-leading basshead one. Like the MPHS, the only real limitation is in the modes available - there's no dedicated Wind Noise Reduction mode or alternative passthrough modes, like you get on some of the newer flagship releases from the likes of Soundcore and 1More. However, you will also pay a lot more, and probably not achieve the ultimate aim of strong ANC that works in a number of environments - this is something both the MPHS and Capsule3 Pro achieve quite comfortably. Better yet, the Engine 4 has multipoint or dual device connection support, so you can connect the earbuds to either two phones or a phone or a laptop. That's great, and it switches neatly when you pause on one device and play on the other. Do update the firmware from the app straightaway to smoothen out this function, however.

Mind you - the Opera 03 definitely sounds more immersive than the more affordable SoundPEATS models, and to thank mostly is the sense that music surrounds you. Still, it does so in a compact soundstage where even details on your left and right feel relatively close, and more challenging musical pieces can strike as crowded and even messy. In practice, the oval-shaped nozzle has no practical benefits. The nozzle has an oval shape which is not the most practical. However, i do notice a slight interference or stuttering when i’m out in the public, not sure if this is something to do with my device itself or it is due to the RF interference, but after disconnecting and reconnecting it, the issue seems to go away The ambient sound mode in SoundPEATS Capsule3 Pro naturally boosts ambient noise right up to 3kHz, in some places, by +5dB. Our first introduction to SoundPEATS app was when testing the Air3 Deluxe. For those earbuds, custom EQ offered 7 frequency bands with +/-3dB boost or decrease.
