About this deal

One thing I will flag is something I’ve noticed in all Grenade’s more recent offerings – the slightly higher carb count.

In this post I will review all the flavours I’ve tried so far, and I’ll update it as and when I try the new additions! These Oreo cookie bars should be stored in an airtight food storage container. They will last at least three days, but they do become more dense the longer they’re kept. They do not freeze well. The actual Oreo part of it is different to regular Oreos, but you also have the chocolate you need in a cookie. You can easily buy Cadburys Oreo bars now, so you don’t even need the Big Bar one that I used, just the amount of chocolate, and some regular Oreos to put on top and decorate with and give it a bit more Oreo oomph. After some more ‘adventurous’ flavours, Grenade have reigned it in with this offering and returned to a chocolatey comfort zone. Jeremy and I are both a huge fan of white chocolate, I feel like it isn’t used enough in desserts. The subtle flavor pairs perfectly with Golden Oreos. Because we have real OREO pieces in our OREO bar, the bar contains wheat unlike the rest of the Grenade Protein Bar range. Our OREO Protein bars contain Milk, Soya and Wheat indefinitely, they may contain traces of nuts and mustard. WARNINGS: Grenade have definitely switched something up with their more recent flavours – the overall texture is softer and they’ve outgrown the crispies. This bar continues the theme and, in fact, might actually be the fudgiest bar yet. It’s actually squidgy! White Chocolate with Sweetener (23%) (Sweetener: Maltitol; Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Emulsifier: Soy Lecithin; Natural Flavouring), Protein Blend (Calcium Caseinate ( Milk), Whey Protein Isolate ( Milk)), Bovine Collagen Hydrolysate, Humectant: Glycerol; Sweeteners: Maltitol, Sucralose; Palm Oil, Water, Fat- reduced Cocoa Powder (3%), Wheat Flour, Wheat Starch, Rapeseed Oil, Bulking Agent: Polydextrose; Sea Salt, Emulsifier: Soy Lecithin; Raising Agents: Ammonium Carbonates, Sodium Carbonates; Acidity Regulator: Sodium Hydroxide; Flavouring. ALLERGY ADVICE:

Because we have real OREO pieces in our OREO bar, the bar contains wheat unlike the rest of the Grenade Protein Bar range. Our OREOProtein bars contain Milk, Soya and Wheat indefinitely, they may contain traces of nuts and mustard. In many ways this bar is similar to the Caramel Chaos – Obviously, the chocolate coating and the texture are exactly alike, but the flavour is overall pretty similar too if I’m honest. I think I’d have to eat them one after the other to really distinguish between them. I was worried the chocolate coating would overpower and detract from the whole ‘PB&J’ feel, but it really doesn’t – the flavours actually blend really well.

Cadbury Giant White Buttons Bag 110g (Box of 10)

Oreo flavors: Try mixing up the flavors of the Oreos you’re using to give the Oreo White Chocolate Bark an entirely different flavor. You could try White Chocolate Oreos, Peppermint Oreos, Peanut Butter Oreos, or even Birthday Cake Oreos. Fold in the Oreo chunks, then pour onto the baking sheet. Use one spoonful of white chocolate to drizzle over the tray. Oreo White Chocolate Bark is the perfect combination of crunchy, sweet, and filling, and it won’t take forever for you to put together. These Christmas treats are ridiculously easy to make, and one batch can be chopped up to make multiple gift bags. Plus, this bark recipe is easy enough for you and your kids can make presents together as a fun family project. White Chocolate Chips vs White Chocolate Melting Disks: The milk chocolate coating is, as expected, silky and sweet, whilst the nougat-y base is dark and rich, adding that hint of saltiness so beloved of an Oreo biscuit. Although strong, the banana flavour isn’t overwhelming and mixes well with the chocolate and the hint of salt from the caramel.

Freezing Instructions: Bake bars in a freezer-safe container. Allow them to cool completely after baking, then cover pan and freeze for up to 3 months There’s the same nougat-y texture to the base as in the other bars. It’s smooth and chewy, with the crispies adding a satisfying crunch when you take a bite. Introducing Grenade OREO White Protein Bar - The nation’s favourite high protein, low sugar Protein bar, now with the unmistakable great taste of OREO, the #1 cookie brand in the world! Due to popular demand, we're delighted to bring you these Grenade Protein bars with long best-before dates. We've been asked repeatedly for Grenade bars, so here they are! Maybe you want to throw some in your basket whilst you shop for your usual surplus favourites from other brands? IngredientsThe white chocolate is optional, but without it the bars kind of look like dirt. Although they still taste amazing, the white chocolate gives much to the appearance! Grenade released this flavour in 2016 but, convinced I hated mint chocolate, I’ve waited until now to try it.

What’s more, it manages to maintain Grenade’s usual, pretty solid macros – 21g protein, 20g carbs, 10g fat and just 1g of sugar, all for 233 kcal. Actual magic! If you want your Oreo Bark in perfect squares, place the blade of your knife in hot water for 30 seconds. Dry the blade well and place it against the bark to score the bark and let the heat of the blade melt a line into the bark. This will be an exercise in patience but it will make clean lines. Chocolate chips: I’ll be using white chocolate chips for this recipe. This also tastes great with milk chocolate chips.

How to Make Oreo Bars:

Inside, it’s the same classic triple-layer bar we’ve come to know and love from Grenade. The base is soft and slightly chewy – a nice chocolate flavour with a hint of mint.
