About this deal

Any serious coffee lover will be hard pushed not to be impressed with the quality and consistency of the coffee the E6 produces. With this Jura E6 review, you’ve got everything you need to get started brewing great drinks at home. All coffee makers require some degree of manual cleaning, its simply a case of how much is automated and how much you need to do. With the Jura E6, the company proves once again that its coffee machines are not only high-functioning, but they’re high-quality as well.

The E6 has a limited number of pre-programmed drinks: cappuccino, coffee and espresso. But there’s also the option of dispensing milk alone, so you can use it in a two-step process for lattes and other drinks. You can also use the near-instant hot water for a cup of tea. And, ten intensity levels adapted to all tastes are now possible with your Jura E6. You can set how much flavor you’d like to pull out of your coffee so that it’s perfectly suited to your tastes. When you consider all the facts and compare what you actually get in comparison to other coffee machines, such as the pulse extraction process and the I.P.B.A.S. Then yes Jura is worth the money. It helps pull out the most flavor and aroma from your coffee. When you combine that with the PEP extraction, you’re in for a real treat in each cup of coffee. While its true this is an extraordinary coffee maker, there are a few things potential buyers need to be aware of. It has a water tank capacity of 63 ounces, which is pretty good for an at-home coffee machine. And, the machine itself measures 17 x 11 x 13 inches. Being a fully automatic bean to cup machine the E6 also comes complete with an internal milk system, which will produce frothed milk on demand.

The manual’s use of bullet points, rather than 1-2-3 steps, makes this harder to follow than it needs to be, as the control panel prompts you for the next step. Speaking of taking up any spot in the home, you’ll be pleased to know that the Jura machine isn’t too large.Essentially a much ( much) nicer version of a capsule coffee machine, the E6 puts out espresso shots, coffee, americanos, and milk drinks like cappuccinos and macchiatos. But, unlike other espresso machines, it does all of this with the touch of a button: Place your cup under the spout, press cappuccino, listen to the machine grind a perfect serving of beans, and watch a frothy cappuccino appear in the cup. It’s that easy, and the results actually taste like coffee shop drinks (not water single-serve espressos). The E6 then takes these super fresh beans and passes them through its clever Multi-level Aroma G3 conical burr grinder. Without boring you with all the detail of how, what this burr grinder does is preserve more coffee aroma, and takes less time. The intelligent water system ensures you always have the correct water filter in place, to match the local water hardness. This serves two functions, it removes all the local impurities stopping limescale build up, but also means your coffee is made with the best water quality. Maintenance can get expensive. Once your warranty is up, if you need to replace anything on your espresso machine you’ll need to be prepared to pay quite a bit of money.

When you first turn on the machine, you’ll be greeted by your favorite drinks. You program these yourself by saving your favorite coffee settings to make sure you have exactly what you want when you want it. And, they also protect the coffee maker from limescale and remove substances that can affect flavor and aroma. The important part here is the E6 makes milk foam and only foam, this does mean the range of coffee drinks available is limited to foam based drinks. So if you like things like a flat white then you need to upgrade to something like the Jura E8. What are the differences between them though? Only the E8 provides the option of using pre-ground coffee. The E8 also has a bigger bean hopper. Most importantly, the E8’s cappuccino system is fully automated, rather than the semi-automated function included with the E6. Verdict Both models include the Pulse Extraction Process, CLARIS water filter and TFT display. They also both have an automatic frothing system and the same size water tank.A couple of weeks ago I got the Jura E6— a fully automatic espresso machine out of Switzerland — and I haven’t been to a coffee shop since. Secondly fans of milkier drinks such as Lattes should avoid this machine, it does make excellent fine foam, but it doesn’t produce the hot milk required for Lattes. Frequently asked Questions It’s worth pointing out that the E6’s milk frother is automatic, but you use it after making regular coffee if you want a cappuccino. It’s still more automated than most bean-to-cup machines – many cheaper models only have a manual milk frothing arm – but making a milky coffee is only semi-automatic. You’ll also need to reposition the cup for milk frothing. The P.E.P system isn’t the only piece of proprietary Jura tech that makes for a great cup of coffee.

A bonus is the replaceable milk spout is safe for dishwasher cleaning. Milk spouts can start to harbour bacteria if not cleaned correctly, so it’s great to be able to put it in the dishwasher. While many milk frothers will simply give you steamed milk, the E6’s fine foam technology goes above and beyond. You cannot use ground coffee in the E6, there is no bypass chute. This is one of the main things buyers complain of. Can Jura E6 make Latte?

Jura E6 Overview

Eleven different drink options, soo matter what you enjoy sipping on, you can make it with the Jura E6 coffee machine. Some Jura machines have pretty limited coffee drink options. The Jura E6 coffee machine, on the other hand, lets you make 11 different types of drinks. That includes coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, macchiatos, and a whole lot more! Is It Worth Buying a Jura E6? Each drink can be individually programmed with ten strength settings, three temperature settings, and a range of size options. Besides coffee drinks, the machine can also puts out milk foam or hot water by itself for tea. The Jura E6 is quite a futuristic looking design, and may not be everyone’s cup tea looks wise. It sort of looks like to me a mid range hotel chains buffet breakfast machine. I can just imagine a queue of mid level travelling execs in my kitchen every morning waiting to use the coffee machine. So how does the E6 work? First, during setup, you test the hardness of your tap’s water and tell the machine. Then, add the included smart water filter (really) to the tank, which automatically filters a serving of water for each pull. Next, add whole beans to the built-in hopper (you can also use coffee grounds, but obviously whole beans are preferred).
