About this deal

Heroes/Honour be damned" tends be used when someone calls him a hero or tells him to act with honour. The series is the second collaboration between Hachette Partworks and 2000 AD publisher Rebellion Developments, following the success of Judge Dredd: The Mega Collection. It is available in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Alexandr and Alexandra – twins whose crests allow them to combine into one super-being, as well as produce explosive nano-mines. They are the first of the Romanovs in the saga to be killed by Dante after they attempt to take his and Jena's lives. In February 2017 a one-off new story was published (set during the series early years) in the comic's 40th-anniversary special issue:

Half-Breed Discrimination: Elena Kurakin is the daughter of a Mongolian warrior and a Russian aid worker. As a result, she's subject to racism from both Russians and Mongolians and finds it difficult to integrate into society as a whole. It's probably the main reason she's a Blood Knight. Valentine Romanov becomes one when he unveils his plan. He decides that years of playing cloak and dagger have finally caught up with him and he decides to be hammy For the Lulz. Darker and Edgier: While "The Great Game" is where the strip starts to get serious, the "Tsar Wars" arc is notable for killing characters off and changing everything forever.

The deathless

Heroic BSoD: Nikolai has a major breakdown after Dmitri destroys his crest. He hides out in an abandoned tavern, drinking the remains of its cellar. He recovers after his mother tells him that she disowns him. The adventures of Nikolai Dante ran in legendary British comics anthology 2000 A. D. from 1997 to 2012. Its story focused on Dante. A thief and adventurer in the 27th century. Think Han Solo crossed with Robin Hood. Our hero discovers he is a Romanov; one of the resurgent noble houses in Imperial Russia. Thus begins the story. Dante outrages noble society with his antics whilst attempting to woo Jena. The Tsar’s daughter. Yours truly; believes that Dante’s adventures should be adapted for the small screen. Here’s why. Badass Normal: A fair few, but notably Dante himself after he is stripped of his crest by Dimitri Romanov. Destroying the Selenes would greatly weaken the Darklands vampires, allowing Romanov anti-vampire units to exterminate the rest. And once in control of the Selene fortress, the satellites could be deactivated to restore sunlight.

Captain Ersatz: Janus Stark, Catwoman, Crusher Creel, Luther Arkwright, Captain America, Sláine, Wonder Woman and Sinister Dexter all appear fairly thinly veiled. The members of the Arbatov family have particular cause to hate Dante (he keeps killing them) and would probably like to be his arch foes, but he sees them as far too insignificant to worry about. As they infiltrated the Darklands, Chekhov and Romanov found a blood camp.Romanov impulsively opened fire, destroying lesser vampires to save blood-thralls. Anti-Villain: The Tsar of all people qualifies. He was once the hero of his own revolution but became worse than his predecessor. However, he never truly ever stopped loving Jocasta Romanov and constantly asks her to be together again. After he falls from power, he becomes an almost pitiable individual, especially after the death of Jocasta, which he weeps at.

Nikolai Dante 11: Sympathy for the Devil

Nikolai Dante: The Romanov Dynasty (November 2004, ISBN 1-904265-20-0), republished as Nikolai Dante: Too Cool to Kill (July 2011, ISBN 9781907519895): Something about the sunlight, but we have no data about how bad it is.Plug in a Fatal Vulnerability if needed, it can’t be too far off. Motivation:

The civil war between House Makarov and House Romanov ends in victory for the Tsar, but the consequences of the war are felt for years afterwards with many regions of the empire falling into chaos and lawlessness, with many areas like Rudinshtein being declared as "Alienation Zones" that are effectively cut off from the outside world. In contrast to my previous choice. Oscar Isaac has the energy and rough charisma to be an excellent Nikolai Dante. No disrespect to Gadiot intended. I just feel like Isaac would have the explosiveness and extroversion to portray the hero of the Revolution. I also think his dark and brooding charisma would be perfect for the serious scenes. Like Gyllenhaal, Isaac has the ability to portray all aspects of Dante. I believe that they would have to be careful that an Isaac Dante did not just become another Han Solo or Poe Dameron. Which there is a risk of if the comic is translated to screen badly. Nikolai Dante is the bastard offspring of infamous female pirate Katarina Dante and Dmitri Romanov, vicious patriarch of the Romanov Dynasty. After a decade of fending for himself as a thief and adventurer, Dante bonds with a cyborganic Weapons Crest and joins the ranks of Romanovs. Dante's Romanov half-siblings admire his street-wise skills, but if Dante is going to survive in his new role, it will be how he always does - by looking after number one. Aristocrats Are Evil: The aristocracy tortures, starves and kills the poor, often for their own amusement. Dating Catwoman: Akita Sagawa is essentially the Big Bad for the Hell And High Water arc. Doesn't stop Nikolai from sleeping with her.The Plan: Lulu's manipulation of the Cadre Infernale involves framing Camilla by framing Nikolai for the murder of another member of the Cadre.
