About this deal

The system looks pleasant enough and offers plenty of functionality, similar to many other Pure products, like the Avalon or Siesta Rise. In addition to the standard Evoke D2 with Bluetooth, there are a number of different designs available, often at a higher price. Evoke D2 Mio with Bluetooth have the same features as the maple Evoke D2 with Bluetooth reviewed above, but come in a range of colours (raspberry, almond, aloe, cerulean, charcoal, pewter, scarlet). If matching your radio to your decor is important to you, choosing an Evoke D2 Mio could be a good option. Some radios allow you to use your phone as a remote control via an app that connects your phone to the radio. You can adjust the settings on the Pure Evoke C-D6 DAB radio to give your music collection extra depth, clarity, and bass. A cheaper alternative is the Roberts Blutune100, which has a similar price tag to the Pure Evoke C-D6 and also has very similar features. The Blutune100 has an acoustically tuned wooden cabinet that helps give it an attractive retro design.

We really appreciated how immersive it felt to use this radio and the fact that we could access Bluetooth streaming as well as DAB. In general, the bigger a DAB radio is, the more likely it is to have a remote control, though some large tabletop radios don’t have remote controls and some smaller portable radios do have one. As with most Pure radios, the Evoke C-D6 is made to be highly user-friendly. Setting the radio up for the first time should be easy. However, like any piece of technology, it can be challenging to set the radio up, especially if it’s your first time interacting with Pure Radios. Another thing we enjoyed about the Pure Evoke C-D6 is the fact that it’s future-proof. We’re not just talking about being able to access Bluetooth streaming here, either. The Pure Evoke C-D6 features a clear LCD display, providing easy visibility and navigation through various settings. Its dimensions are as follows: width of 370 millimeters, depth of 223 millimeters, and height of 135 millimeters, making it compact and space-efficient. The radio weighs 3800 grams, ensuring stability and sturdiness during use. You’ll love the ultra-clear, easy to read 2.8" colour display that displays extra information and brings a splash of colour to your listening. The wood surround not only delivers an aesthetically pleasing radio set but also allows for deeper sound quality. We’d suggest upping your budget if that is the case, or if you don’t absolutely need a one-box solution, trump both with an all-in-one system such as Denon’s Award-winning D-M40DAB. This radio comes with a small but very useful remote control which takes one CR2025 battery (not included). This is the same type of small, round battery you find in many calculators.

This radio isn’t cheap, but it looks and sounds fantastic. Unlike many other DAB radios, it offers stereo sound thanks to the two built-in speakers. If you don’t mind spending a bit more to get a really top-quality product, the Evoke D6 with Bluetooth is a good buy. These apps often allow you to connect to streaming services such as Spotify to play music through the radio’s speakers. If you just want a digital radio and aren’t interested in connecting it to the internet, an Evoke D2 or D4 is probably a better option. As with all Pure Evoke radios, you can except great sound quality. One of the most popular apps for turning your phone into a remote is UNDOK, which is compatible with the Roberts Stream94i, Roberts Revival iStream 3, Revo SuperSystem and Revo SuperConnect, among others. If having a remote control is important to you, it can be difficult to sift through all the options and identify which have a remote and which don’t. That’s why we’ve put together this list of 5 of the best DAB radios with a remote control available in the UK.Unlike the radios looked at so far, the Evoke F3 is an internet radio. This means you can connect to WiFi and listen to Spotify or the 20,000+ internet radio stations from across the world. You can also connect to your phone or other device via Bluetooth to use your radio as a wireless speaker. This radio has a different shape to the D2; you could say it is landscape rather than portrait shaped. Like the Evoke D2, it comes in either a walnut or oak veneer casing, which helps give it a balanced and natural sound. Features This product is more of a complete sound system than just a radio; it features FM/DAB/DAB+ radio, a CD player, Bluetooth and a USB port you can use to play MP3 files.
