Which version will work for you depends mostly on the LTE frequency bands supported by your local carrier(s). The DR750S Firmware v1.003 (left) significantly reduces noise at night at identical bitrate (here: Sports Mode 60FPS, 12Mbps)

Statistics include:driver details, distance driven, travel time, no. of idle stops, idling time, no. of Parking Mode sessions, parked time, no. of times a GPS signal was not found, time without a GPS signal, speed report (no. of speeding alerts, highest speed, average speed), no. of Events (while parked and while driving), geo-fencing report (no. entries/exits/time within a geo-fenced zone). Please note that DR750X-2CH LTE Plus requires a Parking Mode accessory for hardwiring, such as Power Magic Pro, just like the DR750-2CH LTE.

New Time Lapse recording setting (Go to Firmware > Basic > Recording > Parking mode recording > choose Time lapse).

Buffered Events: in case of impact detected, the dashcam switches to regular Event recording, including the 5-6 seconds before the impact. IMPORTANT: new Brightness Default value: 3. Since the DR750S Series retains settings upon upgrade, you may want to readjust the Brightness on your dashcam after upgrading (previous firmware version's default Brightness was 1). DR750S-2CH records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced. That means your DR750S-2CH can better capture crucial details like licence plates, even on fast-moving objects. OPTIMAL ANGLE OF VIEW Note that if you don't allow access to your dashcam's GPS data, you will still be able to use Remote Live View but won't be able to see your dashcam's location on the Map.

Supported dashcam models

This updated scenario was designed to reduce false positives (such as opening/closing doors triggering Event recording): the dashcam will ignore all Events occurring in the 3-minutes before exiting Parking Mode. New Brightness default/recommended setting. We optimized the image for a Brightness setting of 1. We recommend changing Brightness to 1 after performing the upgrade (previous version's Brightness default setting: 2). Push notifications when an impact to your parked vehicle is detected by the dashcam. Simply knowing that you’ll be alerted the moment something happens can go a long way.
