Finding out about why Hawke went to jail was just so freaking well involved into the plot and into his and Cole’s relationship!! It truly was a rollercoaster! If you want something that is going to give you toe-curling, eye-rolling, fast-heartbeat excitement while reading, this is definitely the book for you! It basically kept me in a constant state of being turned on, but anxious at the same time. There is just this perfect balance of drama and sexual tension that I could not put this down. I wanted to inhale it! I actually don't even know where to begin, this book had the potential to be amazing.... (Frustrated) 😫 Additionally, novels can offer insights into different cultures, historical periods, and social issues, providing an opportunity to expand your knowledge and empathy. I hate hating on books and I especially hate not finishing a book iv invested in, if you loved this book in glad. I really wanted to!!!!They teach us that these thoughts, these actions, are immoral. Deep inside of our bones lies that intrinsic need, one desperate to escape. An innate behavior, seemingly out of our control. Overall, That Sik Luv is a well-written and thought-provoking novel. It is not for everyone, but it is sure to appeal to fans of dark romance. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique and challenging read. Hawke is so much more than just a sexy, tatted up, ex-convict bad boy. He is a complex character and my heart hurt for all that he had to go through and how misunderstood he is. He is haunted by his past his past and has to deal with the consequences of it every day. He was such a kind hearted person and absolutely deserving of love. As it reads, we should flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
