That level of play was fine for the 6 year old, but any games which become favourites usually include further layers of challenge for older children and adults which is very much lacking here. The cards contain quite interesting and entertaining information encouraging reading from the 6 year old, but the two games outlined in the enclosed instructions were quite disappointing, relying solely on luck, with no skill or tactics to develop to make repeat play rewarding.

It's way too gruesome, we're not squeamish at all but I just don't think it's necessary for my 7 year old to be reading about boiling people alive and serial killers (illustrated with what is clearly a bloody head in a sack).
