I can't say that I really wanted to consider a Foreman grill (still regarded it as an "infomercial gadget") but the competition did not have overwhelming positive reviews.

It looks like the food has gotten thru the nonstick layer and the meat is starting to get stuck to the plates and leaving some burn residue behind that doesn't come off during a standard dishwasher cycle. It works well as an extra when entertaining or as a sole cooking appliance for small households, but we’d like the exterior to stay a little cooler.
