I always enjoy reading new cookbooks especially ones with personal stories that go along with the recipes. Since I read cookbooks like novels and Asma loves to tell stories, I think I need to pick up this book. At that time, she couldn’t cook at all, and turned to discounted Indian cookbooks in her desperation for a taste of home. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you.

Asma will be the first British Chef to star in Netflix's award-winning series Chef's Table (spring 2019).The book is more than just a collection of delicious and accessible recipes, it is a celebration of heritage, culture, community and quality.
