About this deal

Granted, I haven't read the rest of the series, but from this he seemed quite a tedious person whose best features were just a happy coincidence, and that said little about his character (does he have one? LJ Ross is an international bestselling author, best known for creating atmospheric mystery and thriller novels, including the DCI Ryan series of Northumbrian murder mysteries which have sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

To put it mildly, after reading what seemed to be several pages of self-justification and self-congratulation, I was pretty sure that the author must self-publish. You give a wonderful description of the area and we will be visiting soon while I await the next instalment.Accusations abound in the small, close-knit community, and ‘old’ religions spar against ‘new’ while fear runs like. After the discovery of the dead man, Ryan and Frank arrive, find the local police in disarray, and they feel the wrath of Ryan's tongue.

I laughed so much throughout with Frank’s one liners, he is 100% a character that I will forever love! So many phrases that just grated because yes, they do the job, but isn't there a fresher way to say them? Murder and mystery are peppered with romance and humour in this fast-paced crime whodunnit, set amidst the spectacular Northumbrian landscape.Lady's Well" (the 20th book in her DCI Ryan series) is available in ebook format now, with paperback and audio formats coming soon! I have a feeling all will be revealed in the next one, which I will still read as I am invested in the characters now. Another masterpiece, full of suspense and I’m super excited for the next book and what comes next with these characters and of course some more murders to solve! This may be book twenty in the series but I am hoping there will be plenty more yet to come as they are highly entertaining reads with plenty of murder and mayhem with one of the best set of characters who by now feel like family. Along with other readers, I have fallen head over heels for these two characters as there is a definite bromance between the two.

I would have liked to hear more about the Well, the village of Holystone, The ancient Pagan and Christian past, and the surrounding landscape.

This book goes for the most part to the standard no major overlap with another book from the series, but if you did not read the previous two, I do strongly suggest to have a go before going for this one, or you will know one of the murders in this one.
