I don't think Clockwork Angel is the most horrible book which I have ever read--it isn't, the action scenes and part of the plots are enjoyable to an extent. Jem collapses and confesses later in his room to Tessa that the demon attack that killed his parents and forced him to move to London also made him depend on a demonic drug that will kill him in a few years.

Mortmain, the mundane who informed the Shadowhunters of de Quincey, visits the Institute to tell Will and Jem about the Dark sister who is trying to help the Magister in resurrecting his army and also told them about her location. Tessa manages to alert the Shadowhunters inside, but not before one of the clockwork figures smears his hand with the blood from Jem's injuries. XD They care about each other deeply and they have an amazing chemistry, yet Will is keeping Tessa at a distance and never lets her get too close to him.I also am somewhat convinced that is exactly the dynamic Cassandra Clare was going for, because like… it is really really there.

BUT I will say I was rooting for The Three Love Triangle People All Dating Each Other Endgame up until the ending and then Will. The worst part is that when Jessamine was openly insulting a guest (Tessa), NO ONE--not Will, not Charlotte, not Henry, even bothered to stop her. Even tho this book has a love triangle, which I truly hate, the relationships in this book are great.Jem finds and comforts her, saying that although she feels that she is unlovable because she is not human, "The right man won't care" subtly declaring his feelings for her. Hey, look gang, a perfectly inconspicuous diving mask… I WONDER IF THIS COULD BE A CLUE *WINK**WINK**NUDGE**NUDGE* FOR ALL THE FIVE YEAR OLD KIDS PLAYING AT HOME! They start as strangers that form a friendship and by the end of the book both of them begin to feel more for each other than mere affection. These characters learning the ins-and-outs of that system allows the Reader to learn along with them naturally, without it feeling info-dumpy.
