Anita Roddick’s philosophies, her ideas were revolutionary and her passion has made this brand recognized all over the world. It is also more glossy than other oils, in fact, it creates the highest gloss of all natural oils when applied to the skin.

A community for those wanting to cut down on beauty consumerism, while finding inspiration in your existing products! As for cosmetics, the CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) concluded that the amount of BHT used in cosmetic products is low (usually around 0. Passionberry is by far one of my favourite of the 5 - it's a purple colour and I do love a good shade of purple - however don't let that put you off as it doesn't make your lips purple (quite the opposite in fact).OMG guys, I’m so happy that I got the last four Born Lippy lip balms that I needed, after trying the strawberry one I wanted to try the rest! I’m really happy I got this lip balm, it turned out to be a really good product and I look forward to trying more of them in the future!

The watermelon lip balm is a very subtle lip balm (in colour) but does leave your lips with a nice shine. Ricinus communis, Lanolin, Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswax, Aroma, Cera Alba, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Silica, Benzyl Benzoate, Citrullus vulgaris, Tocopheryl Acetate, Limonene, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Benzyl Alcohol, Tocopherol, Linalool, Methyl 2-Octynoate, CI 77891, CI 19140, CI 15850. I think it product is targeted to the younger audience because the range has these funky names like Satsuma Shimmer, Raspberry, Strawberry and Pink Guava. The lip balm I used previously required reapplication almost after every 3 hours, meaning that they couldn’t even keep my lips hydrated for half the amount of time they promised to. Simply rub the butter between your fingers to warm it, and the crystals will instantly melt so you can apply as normal. My personal opinion for this lip balm is that it keeps my lips moisturized and hydrated for ample time and gives my lips a natural, nourishing and sheer finish. Watermelon: This one is my least favorite out of these, it’s not an awesome scent and it doesn’t leave any color. It’s part of 200 natural oils including lavender, ylang-ylang, bergamot, jasmine, geranium and it can be found in 90-95% of prestige perfumes on the market. I love these Born Lippy lip balms so much, I highly recommend them but only if you like strong scents and flavors. One of my favorite things about this lip balm is the adorable little plastic tub it comes in, it is so nice and the little label with the lips on it is so cute.

Raspberry: This one smells like straight up gummy worms, it does smell like raspberries a bit but it’s such a strong, sweet scent so it’s difficult to smell the raspberry. The formula of these is really nice, it is a bit sticky and you do have to apply it with your fingers, but I’m fine with applying it with my fingers and the stickiness doesn’t really bother me. It’s one of the “EU 26 fragrances” that has to be labelled separately (and cannot be simply included in the term “fragrance/perfume” on the label) because of allergen potential. Don’t worry if you see crystals forming on your lip butter it’s a totally normal, natural result of the waxes and oils in the product. It smells exactly like orange soda and orange juice, definitely an artificial orange scent, and it even leaves shimmer!

In cosmetics, it’s often in products that are supposed to keep your skin matte as it has great oil-absorbing abilities. Infused with sweet scented Raspberry seed oil that will also keep you coming back for more to this product. Similar to other plant oils, it's loaded with nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids: it's a high linoleic acid oil (70%) and has only smaller amounts of oleic acid (11%) ( this might be great for acne-prone skin). I have tried three different ones, Watermelon, Raspberry and Strawberry, and they all smell wonderful.

Being very orangey it doesn't leave any colour on your lips and is very neutral - its more the gold shimmer you see when your lips hit the light. This product has proven to be extremely beneficial for my lips as I had always been complaining about my dry and chapped lips in winters. This smell reminds me more of a satsuma peel rather than the orange itself (not a bad thing) and is very shimmery - so probably not one (as a guy) that I would wear out. There are too many flaws in this product and I shall be pointing them out to you in points as the nerd in me says so.
