I know some people have complained it's 'boring' or whatever, but most people investing in a high-end palette want something wearable and this can take you from day to night and it's easy to create versatile looks using Soft Glam. The shimmers were weaker than I expected on their own--they weren't as dense or as creamy as some of the brand's more recent shimmer eyeshadow releases. Today the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand responds to its global beauty community with highly-coveted products in brow, color formula, and contour.

Use the warm matte neutral eyeshadows for contouring the crease, and the deep, smoky hues to define. I do find the felt gets grubby very easily on both of these light-colours palettes, which is annoying. Personally, it’s a slight letdown that this palette doesn’t have a mirror, it would be more user friendly if it did.The saddest part of not needing to go regularly was not getting to see the friendly faces of the reception team and of course my chiropractor Andy. The undertone is warm toned, which is not my favorite, but I was surprised by how wearable it still was on my neutral to cool undertone. I used to think I wasn't very good at applying makeup but I now believe that I was using poor quality shadows. The convenience of a mirror is so handy when travelling and the shadows are more pigmented so perform better on the eyelid than the Revolution ones. This is a workhorse neutral palette and a great choice for someone who is newer to makeup or looking to step it up in a professional environment. I usually do my eye makeup first but even then I found it quite difficult to swipe the fallout away.

Not a single shade in this palette is a dud and all shades perform excellently and are easy to apply. The formula is wonderful, it blends out beautifully, very similar to the modern renaissance formula.

I attended following months of pain and discomfort, apprehensively my worries and fears were unfounded.All in all, this is an excellent palette for the first couple years of owning it, but expect the formula to get worse after that point. I would love to see a few more mid-toned mattes and perhaps fewer shimmers, but I do love and use each and every shade in this palette. I love the Anastasia eyeshadow formula, and along with these two palettes, I own many of their singles. In a finger swatch these shades go on with a punch and I think this also shows you nicely what all the undertones look like.
