Choosing a Canvas Fabric The choice of material depends both on the fibre it is made from, cotton or linen, the weight of the yarn used and on how finely the fabric is woven. You can fill your mould with casting plaster, resin, liquid soaps and wax - please follow the manufacturer's guidelines for use (especially resin due to it's restriction of volume and curing times). Used in numerous product types, this is one of the most commonly used rotational moulding powder grades. There are hog brushes for oil and Cotman brushes for watercolour, the brushes use natural and synthetic hair designed to give the artist a wide choice and maximum control. For the professional caster, used to working with BabyRice Alginate, the working time can be extended a little by reducing the temperature of the water used to mix the alginate.
