Now, spending many weeks in bed I decided to re-read some of Jacqueline's books and Midnight is the one I thought of as first. I dreamt of Casper Dream's books and fairies, I wanted to be a part of that magical world (hugely because I did feel like Violet in many ways, minus the brother). I feel the plot could have been managed better, with something happening to add the focus onto Violet and Will.
