I acquired this fragrance a month ago, and upon my initial spritz, it deviated from my expectations, catching me off guard. The orris seems to give a gentle earth rounded feel, the fruits are not really fruits but lend a brightness and dew feel - in no way aquatic or garden dew though. The top notes of Kumquat and Lime provide a refreshing burst of citrus, while the heart notes of Orris, Violet, Jasmine, and Lily-of-the-Valley add a delicate floral touch. Would look great with a 50s style swing dress, red lipstick and a smile, but only if the dress was in a bright and playful colour.
I got this fragrance over the summer and I didn’t like it for that season, but as it gets cooler, it starts to smell good to me. Top notes are Kumquat and Lime; middle notes are Orris, Violet, Jasmine and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood and Cedar.It does not create a scent bubble on me, but you can definitely catch many frequent beautiful whiffs of it on yourself. Sadly I cannot comment on its similarity to Delina cos I am a cheapass who would never pay *that* for a perfume, but I think Junoon Noir is super likable for anyone with a girly,/feminine side. First impression: It's a Turkish delight made of Orris and Violet, sticky and chewy, topped with sugar powder, sweet and strong. I can see the Dama Bianca comparisons, I would say Junoon Noir is a lighter, considerably sweeter, more easygoing interpretation to wear. These perfumes are made from high-quality ingredients and are crafted using traditional methods to ensure that they retain their unique and distinctive aromas.
Have the original and found I constantly had to reapply as it is faint and performance is poor but it smells so good.
Within just a few minutes the initial strength of the citrus dissipates, and it dries down to the most beautiful powdery, creamy, light vanilla musk scent. Al Haramain Junoon Noir is a fragrance that embodies sophistication and allure, making it perfect for any occasion. I’ve never smelt Dama Bianca, but reading it’s notes, and smelling Junoon Noir, I have a feeling that this might be the best dupe. Al Haramain Junoon Noir Spray 75ml comes with a great scent and the perfection of a well-balanced perfume that will cater to all the needs of the user who wants more than what the ordinary user needs with life. I don’t know where previous reviewers got the idea that this is a dupe for PDM Delina, because this has less than zero in common with Delina.
The violets here have reminders of Euphoria Calvin Klein, and the balmy vanilla in the base has a rooty earthiness that reminds me of Angelique Noire Guerlain.I will get a lot of use out of it, especially on those days I don't feel like a loud beast-mode fragrance or one of my overly sweetened gourmands. It's so funny but it reminds me of being at the beach, in North Carolina, as a kid -- the smell of the boards they used to use to make the little mini-boardwalks onto the beach -- plus a sweet fruitiness that must be the kumquat (I've never eaten a kumquat! It's a fragrance I've never encountered before; however, if I were to distill it into uncomplicated terms, I detect a delicate creamy citrus interwoven with subtle violet notes. Definitely an effective anti-Monday potion anyway, I feel capable, feminine and cheery today with this juice on.However, I've discovered another fresh vanilla but much less powdery and I might start a new relationship with that one. And lo and behold, the fluffiest, powdered sugar vanilla with hints of musk and sandalwood took front stage in just a few seconds. When it completely dried down, I smelled the florals, musk, woody notes more with the vanilla in the background.
