From my point of view (also a big Hey Duggee fan), there are some things missing from this book that mean it is nowhere near as entertaining as the program. During the holiday season, the Squirrels try to inspire Duggee's friend Clarence who has unfortunately lost and forgotten about his Christmas cheer.
