You can still get similar products for less, but Wacom’s emphasis on quality makes this a compelling option.No pen stand which would be nice to have while you are working and want to quickly pop the pen somewhere safe. However don't be fooled into thinking you can easily take this with you to work remotely its hefty weight means once it's set up you probably want to leave it in the same spot to work on. The 4k display with 10bit color (8bit + 2FRC) shows clear and crisp content with a high color performance and calibration options. I measured the Cintiq's brightness at 143 nits (candelas per meter squared), lower than its 210-nit rating, and calculated the contrast ratio at 726:1, short of its 1,000:1 rating.

The display is equipped with HLG (hybrid log-gamma) and the PQ (perceptual quantization) curve for displaying and editing HDR video content. Wacom Pro Pen 2 reacts to the tilt of your hand and immediately responds as you move, capturing every stroke of your pen. Now there are a couple of other differences such as the viewing angle which varies by a very small amount and the power consumption, which is a little bit higher on the Cintiq 22. Apart from resolution, the other potential drawback of this display compared with the Cintiq Pro line is the colour gamut – how many colours the screen is capable of displaying.
