Twice a year we commission artists to create artworks based on a theme that represents the values of our brand. It is an artisanal mezcal made from a 100% natural fermentation that uses a mix of different woods in the cooking process to obtain a smokier profile - ocote, holm oak, and peppertree – which is an extremely desirable flavour for cocktails.
After Tahona stone milling, natural fermentation with its own yeast in ayacahuite pine vats and double distillation in maestro mezcalero Doroteo Garcia’s small copper still, it is bottled at 42% ABV.preserving our culture and industry with integrity is our priority – we invest 10% of our net profits into ecological and social sustainability programmes.
The same artisanal care that goes into the single-batch Mezcal Amores releases is also taken over this eye-catching mezcal, which stands out on the back bar. This mezcal has everything going for it: fruitiness, sweet cooked agave, smoke, vegetal notes and citrus. Mezcal Amores believe firmly in a better world, and they pursue this vision by empowering their teams and embracing local communities, by supporting local agave farmers (agaveros) and Master Distillers (Maestros Mezcaleros), because they understand that these are the guardians of their Mezcals.
Mezcal Verde was created by created by Mezcalero Doroteo Garcia from Mezcal Amaras and extends beyond spirit production. Different artists featured on each bottle, the bars also keep their funky bottles for water or mixers. Whether you team it with a simple long drink or use it to add complexity to a refined cocktail, it’s a flavour which lingers and freshens up any drink.

Part of the Mezcal Amores brand and based in Tlacolula, Oaxaca, Mezcal Verde is made sustainably, only working with 100% organic agave plants using natural distillation methods involving no harsh chemicals. The flavour itself is sweet with muscovado sugar notes and tropical pineapple keeps things light alongside peppery black spice and just a hint of oak. This small Batch, Artisanal Spirit is brought to us by the Mezcal Verde located in Tlacolula with a small capacity of 7,000l of Mezcal per year. It is cooked using three different types of wood - ocote, red oak and pepper tree - to achieve a complex, balanced flavour profile that makes it work brilliantly in cocktails.
