Gee whiz, couldn't it just warn me it won't be able to do the entire job right after the files discovery step? The only thing I would remark upon is the packaging wasnt as robust as I have received from other places. I suppose the 4 bay NAS being half empty adds an echo effect, but I wish I'd gone for the WD equivalents now dammit. Always on, always accessible, all-CMR portfolio engineered to deliver 24×7 performance, reliability, and dependability in multi-bay, multi-user commercial and enterprise RAID storage solutions. Enjoy a seamless, superior NAS experience as IHM monitors your system environment and offers preventative actions to secure your data.

With Rescue data recovery plans, experts will examine your drives in controlled, secure labs - retrieving your data in the event of accidental loss. Your data is important and a Rescue plan provides peace of mind in case of unexpected data loss due to accidents or mechanical damage. Value for money per TB is great but these have been the noisiest NAS Hard Drives I have owned despite firmware and multiple tweaks to NAS enclosure to reduce vibration, will go back to WD Red's on next upgrade. When you want a hard drive that is everything NAS, IronWolf is the only NAS storage solution that you’ll require. IronWolf Health Management (IHM) IronWolf Pro drives include 3 years of complimentary Rescue Data Recovery Services - in-house secure facilities, with an industry-leading recovery rate of 95% - so you do not have to incur high recovery costs in the event of accidental data corruption or drive damage.

If you are a Wireless or comms reseller and are interested in selling 4Gon products as part of your business offering, you can apply to become an authorised reseller. The IronWolf excels in this, using their own Health Management system, Seagate have given you the tools to monitor and manage your drive constantly. IronWolf Health Management is designed to operate on compatible NAS systems such as Synology and ASUSTOR. As I'm going to use these drives ONLY for doing some occasionnal "full backups" (definitely not more than once every month, maybe probably even only once or twice a year, albeit those will be huge FULL backups, though), do I really "need" the Pro versions, if the *only* visible difference is total-workload-lifetime durability? IronWolf and IronWolf Pro are great companions for your NAS for 24×7 remote access, backups and file sharing from anywhere, making sharing ideas easy.Currently, I have this backup setup, running on my old still-on-Windows7 PC with 8 GB RAM and using an old ASUS H81M-A MOBO (dating back from 2017, or maybe even earlier, I forgot!
