About this deal

And, if you don’t mind a larger finished project, you can knit using bigger needles and heavier yarn as well.

These dimensions will depend a bit on how tall you knit the stipe and how light or tight you stuff the finished mushrooms.Nicely made and painted and I really like that it has a well shaped wooden stick for lifting the loops over. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. While nice, I wasn’t perfectly satisfied with the transition between gills and cap – and some of it was just too difficult to knit on top of that. The two available sizes will give you the chance to practice with the smaller specimen first and then proceed to the larger version. They use recyclable material whenever possible, and their packing process is now 100% plastic-free - Rex London use paper tape, recycled cardboard boxes, and paper wrap rather than bubble wrap. I updated the pattern accordingly and you (and all others who purchased it) should have received a new download pattern link. Use your little needle (pick) to lift the bottom loop over the top loop created with your working yarn and drop it into the hole.It is also an increase row, and 4 increases (2 per 5-stitch repeat) would only give a new total of 16 stitches in the round, not the required 20.

My only additional comment is to include a direct link to the PLL tutorial in the pattern (there is one for KLL but not PLL). I don’t like it all that much as it tends to stretch stitches too much and slipping isn’t all that hard. You can either use your darning needle to stitch this end into your cord so it is hidden or to sew the two ends together to form a loop. Wouldn’t you need there to be a repeat of 7 stitches to get the desired 2 stich per needle increase?I’m expanding it constantly and almost all important stitches and techniques are explained in great detail with lots of high-resolution pictures and videos. I arranged them in my little fake forest here in my studio, but ultimately I put them under a cloche and let me sit on the windowsill. But with the recent success of my pumpkin patch pattern, I had a lot of people asking me for the porcini pattern as well. Even if I increased in every other stitch, I would still only have 18 stitches by the end of the round.
