About this deal

Only good feedback for the moment: Sound is the same as with cable, you can select the "missing cable compensation" with an off-short-long switch (I do not hear the difference with my old ears). It's super cool that the receiver can also run off a 9v, had a few times where the pedal power was unplugged mid performance and it just seamlessly switched to battery power. It also features switchable cable tone simulation or bypass powered by AA bateries or DC adapter with the ability to daisychain power entire board! The WL-50 receiver can run for up to ten hours on two AA batteries, allowing you to take your wireless setup with you!

We use cookies to analyse site usage, provide social media features and personalise content and ads. This process includes a thorough visual inspection of the instrument, electronic components including pickups, switches and pots are tested. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours.

The receiver is also equipped with a regular ¼-inch input jack, so you can always use a traditional guitar cable in a pinch. If you purchase our extended warranty for this product, we'll extend the money-back guarantee period to 180 days and the warranty period to 10 years.

Equipped with high-performance BOSS wireless technology that debuted in the Katana-Air wireless guitar amp, the WL-50 delivers exceptional sound quality with wide dynamic range. Driven by new BOSS technology, the WL-50 delivers premium sound and a plug-and-play experience that eliminates all the hassles normally associated with wireless systems. The biggest letdown is the boasted '65-foot/20-meter range' as, upon trying it, it seems to struggle past approx 15 feet away, it turning glitchy and cutting out.You can even listen to your tone out front whilst sound checking, allowing you to get the best sound for your audience! However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. For most people, it usually takes up to an hour to assemble the piano and requires two able-bodied persons. The only way to fix this is to have a USB cable on standby to “jump” the receiver back above that threshold. Once you experience the easy wireless independence provided by the WL-50, you'll never go back to using a standard cable again!

All of our products are new unless stated and come with a 30-day money-back guarantee and a 3-year warranty as standard. It does cause some noise when plugged in to the digital mixer (Zoom LiveTrak L20) so that is a bit annoying, however no biggie. However, in a Jazzmaster, and no doubt some other guitars, you do notice it a little more than if you were using a regular cable. Authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.I wanted to make this post to set a record of my experience with this wireless system while being as concise as possible.

The WL-50 receiver can run for up to seven hours on two AA batteries, allowing you to take your wireless setup with you! The top nut also plays a big part in the action of your guitar so we'll hit that sweet spot between too low and too high. For acoustic guitars we will check the functions of the EQ system and controls as weel as check the internal cabling and jack socket. Setup is quick and simple, and you’re able to move about freely while playing at home, jamming with friends, and performing on stage. However, this feature also means that when it’s plugged into the receiver and the receiver isn’t powered on (and therefore isn’t charging it), they’re put into standby mode which does very slowly drain the battery. If the fault occurs within the first 180 days of your ownership, we'll collect the goods and deliver them back to you free of charge. We check and properly profile the playing surface of the frets and then make sure the fret ends are finished off properly. During sound check at a gig, you can listen to your tone out front and dial in the best sound for your audience. While the transistor can be recharged via a micro USB, the receiver is powered by an AC adaptor or two AA batteries, letting you take the wireless system anywhere.
