Big Block Singsong is a fun and entertaining animated musical short format series which currently airs on Disney and CBC TV. The videos are inherently humorous (it’s a square monkey, after all), but the lyrics sometimes offer opportunities for visual jokes. The kids enjoyed this Dvd a lot my daughter who is almost 6 was dancing around like crazy to the music. A gray-brown block with long arms singing about all the things he’s going to do meaning that it’s going to be a “two-banana day. The DVD features 24 animated Big Block Singsong music videos from Season 1 of this international hit!

We watched it a few times on a streaming channel, but after I bought it for her, she watches it at least 3 times a day. Now there are 59 videos, 49 of which are the Season 1 pile which provide the 24 songs drawn for the album and DVD. In “Sad,” several blocks get together to encourage a blue block, singing, “We’ve all felt down and that’s okay… you’ve got some friends you can count on. You don’t need the visuals to enjoy the music, but there are definitely some videos (“Sleep,” for one) that add an extra layer of enjoyment. When she's not blogging or homeschooling, she enjoys downhill skiing, exploring Vancouver's parks, drinking coffee with friends, reading, and playing board games with her family.

In this episode, watch as a Big Block dog lets the rhymes flow, a pirate Big Block sings a tune about finding treasure, and a bunch of googly-eyed Big Blocks sing an ode to their land full of purple fish! Case has been modified by library to contain library stamps/stickers/markings, but DISC IS ORIGINAL!
