I overcame the initial urge to scrub a citrus attack with a brush and gave Soft a second chance and . For an oil, the sillage is impressive, not enough to suffocate but it leaves a soft little cloud around the wearer. Soft CPO is scented with lemons, then suddenly I smell oranges and it all blends beautifully into chocolate and vanilla and smells and smells, it is a divine fragrance that is as light as a breeze but also sensual .

As it evolves, the delicate notes of jasmine come to life, adding a touch of floral elegance to the composition. this is something i'd wear when i want to feel pretty and pastel pink (but not in a fancy fairytale sort of way). A bright burst of citrus notes begin the symphony as a rare pineapple note delicately sweetens and rounds out the initial greeting. it definitely has a synthetic lemon candy scent at first, but on my skin it dried down into powdery florals and caramel.I don't like citrus/fresh perfumes, but in this one the citrus is gone in 30 min-1 hour and then the smell become like a caramelized lemon. I feel like the oil brings out more of the gourmand in it and the spray is very gourmand too but I do also smell the white musk in it with the spray. But at least on my skin this interpretation smells so synthetic that it makes my nose burn a little. Gourmand fans will adore this, I am not a gourmand lover and I was shocked at how delish this smells. I purchased the spray version after hearing it was a lemon gourmand scent because I love the BBW Iced Lemon Poundcake body mist and was looking for a longer lasting substitute.

The scent is long-lasting, and a little goes a long way, so you can enjoy this fragrance all day long. Not that I imagine I would have to for quite some time given how little you actually need to use to get the benefit. It can become overwhelming if overapplied, so a light touch is recommended to fully enjoy its nostalgic charm. i get a lemon soapy scent at first, but the more i smelled it, the more it became like a lemon muffin scent.It's not super strong but it's got a pretty good sillage and it clings to skin and clothes pretty well. Initially, the cleaner-like lemon was overwhelming and lasted at least 10-15 minutes before drying down.

I’d also consider it a good choice for my coquette besties out there looking for an affordable, sweet scent to add to their collection. Its VERY citrusy and when u first spray it its overbearingly synthetic but when it dries down it smells soft and feminine. Now, after a month of having owned it, that first lemon note only lasts around 5 minutes, and isn't quite so unbearable anymore. I don't know if they have common ingredients but Soft doesn't smell like them aside from the stale dog food note. I know it’s ridiculous not to expect sweetness from a caramel + vanilla combo, but this isn’t a beautiful rich gourmand sweetness.

it’s just that the lemon in this can be overwhelmingly synthetic which i’m not a fan of - the background smells like pink sugar but it’s overtaken by the potent fake lemon cake smell. Opening is a bit of a struggle, I'm not going to lie—very sharp, screechy, astringent lemon, like a cleaner of some sort. The sweetness is balanced out by the citrus and it is quite concentrated whilst still feeling light. Orange flowers, along with chocolate full of bitter roasted almonds in this tenderly flowing perfume, will tie you up and, as a delicate cobweb, interweave a lemon tinge with vanilla.

Nonspecific fruity smell I get no caramel and absolutely nothing like Pink Sugar (a scent I wore for 10+ years).
