It will be interesting - for me - to see if my first impressions are borne out as I read further or if I do a 180 and after a few issues fall in love with this comic. The lofty mission for the property is for it to be the basis of an expansive cross-media universe, starting with a feature. Wang, a Chinese immigrant who only recently learned English via genie magic, shouts, "I am not your son!Ernest Hemingway initially presents himself as the gentlemanly scholar-poet "Papa" upon arriving at the Lampwick. Even without talent attachments, the deal is significant for the streamer as it involves not only feature films but series and more. Thoughts on the gloriously imaginative fantasy comic series, in which every person on Earth gets a personal genie with one wish; and eight centuries of chaos ensue!

It follows a world forever changed by the appearance of magical genies able to grant any wish imaginable and whose motives are shrouded in mystery. Adorably Precocious Child: Robbie is a bright, Genre Savvy twelve-year-old who has the wisdom and maturity not to make an impulsive wish like many other children around the world.It's fascinating to consider the implications, and the wildness of some of the wishes leaves room for some fantastic artwork. I am reading it an issue at a time so I am reserving the right to like it in the future after I learn more but I am basing this off the first issue. He presents himself as affable and loving and reasonable, helped by his ability to compel people to follow him, but his ultimate goal is to eliminate all of the other enclaves and Take Over the World.

By the end of the final issue we are eight-hundred years post G-day, and three of the original cast of characters from the bar have managed to end up immortal thanks to the quirks of how the wishes of their friends and family combined to protect them.The title and basic premise alone had me hooked from the first moment I heard about it; everyone on Earth gets a wish, what happens next?
