I realise people coming from the old formula are complaining that it is difficult to apply, but I think this is a really effective deodorant and I hope people give it an honest try. This is the first time I have tried a non-aluminium based deodorant and I have to say I am converted. While we've not had any problems with using alum sticks, as they did work, I was still aware and concerned that they were a form of aluminium all the same (though less harmful than aluminium chlorohydrate, according to some). Even after opening the lid and discarding the protective cap, there was no obvious scent until you really got close to it. So, stick with it for a week or so and we know after this you won't go back, as you will be smelling clean, fresh and Handsome. That one has been amazing - yes it may leave streaks on clothing if you apply too much/after wearing tops a couple of times, but it washes right out unlike antiperspirants - and I quite like that the deodorant is solid, and you have to kind of hold it against your underarm to melt it onto your skin. We tried other eco-sticks but they just didn't work and I didn't obviously want to make my husband smell awful, so this was a last ditch attempt before going back to the alum sticks and I am SO glad we did find this.I was considering throwing some tops out as they seemed to smell come lunch time but this has completely changed since switching from aerosol to Mancave.
