Despite the "True Bypass" label next to the 3PDT footswitch, there is a (presumably JFET source follower) bypass buffer. No need to de-solder them, I found in-circuit measure to be not so inaccurate for most interesting components. I did keep the Drive at 10 o/c and Volume at 12 o/c though as the PA was too big for the Venue anyway. I forgot to say that each pedal has three curves, corresponding to the Voice/Character control set at 0, 5 and 10.Of the five (including the FlyRig), the American Sound is absolutely the best, by leaps and bounds, through the front of an amp. The straight 6 is still a light crunch and doesn’t get clean, while the BC2 is indeed underwhelming to me. Some people in China got paid for work they were prepared to do, same as if they were Americans or Mexicans or Nigerians. Tin the pads before use, while the flux is still fresh you can tack the wire in the blob, hopefully this will form a good solder, not a cold one.
