I’ve been using Weedol for years, and from what I can tell, it will kill around 99% of broad-leaved weeds that grow in UK lawns, but in my garden it didn’t kill every weed. I apply the product as per instructions with a sprayer and notice the odd green weed shoot but the shoots never develop. You must ensure the end user of these products complies with the DEFRA/HSE Code for the Safe use of Pesticides.

They do not target monocotyledons which are grasses meaning that any grass that the product is applied to will be safe.
