When I updated the Bad Elf app yesterday I not only discovered that it can now flip log data over to many of the mapping and charting apps on my pad but that the logger itself got a firmware update (again one-button-easy to install) that includes log filtering and the ability to bump the refresh rate up to 10 times a second. Non-personalized content and ads are influenced by things like the content you’re currently viewing and your location (ad serving is based on general location).I bought the WiFi-only version due to the fact that I rarely use the 3G on my phone (mostly use it on WiFi at home) and didn't think it was worth getting it on the iPad, which is even less portable than the phone due to its size. When it is following the location well, it does it very well - but the iPad's own GPS isn't noticeably worse in most circumstances.
