About this deal

This is a hard one to recommend unless of course, you don't already have a mass appealing scent in your arsenal. I was reading a magazine and caught a whiff of something incredible. It was a test strip for Gucci Guilty. I got tons of patchouli, incense, and jasmine from the test strip. I was loving it, excited to find something that smelled like my bath routine-- Neutrogena rain bath, a layer of nag champa lotion, followed with jasmine body oil and a dab of Matchabelli Skin Musk (oil). Most perfumes I own are more vintage in their profiles so I was pumped to find a perfume that wouldn't be redundant AND hit some great notes for me. Campaign: Captured by photographer Glen Luchford, the new Gucci Guilty scents are represented as part of another unexpected location – the diner – complete with inimitable red booths, wood-paneled walls, and shuttered windows. Nestled within one such booth, Gucci Guilty protagonists Jared Leto and Lana Del Rey stare directly out in a challenge that subtly dares the viewer to join them in the celebration of liberty. A special cameo from Courtney Love serves to reinforce this message. For all of the gentlemen who love and choose Gucci, the woody aromatic Guilty Pour Homme is presented to the market in 2011 as an aromatic companion of popular female edition Gucci Guilty from 2010. You can’t define it. It’s not sweet or floral centered, it’s not sexy in an obvious way, not super musky and clean, not sophisticated in a serious way. It’s not “old” or “young”… it’s just…balanced. And most of all…It’s free.

Is it unique? Probably not, but it's memorable in its own way. Inoffensive but classy. A woman who wears this probably looks like they have their life figured out, and they're living their best life globe-trotting. I'll wear it to have that illusion of getting my life together (LOL).I adore the bottle and the ads, I really do, they got me before I ever had a chance to get my hands at a bottle years ago..I was thinking if the scent is half as good as the marketing, I`m sold.. The longevity and projection are both good, as I get 6 to 8 hours, and just maintain a bubble around me that isn't too far reaching, but enough to reach those you walk by. Again, more than acceptable, as no one wants to be the person that you meet the fragrance before you meet the person.

Unlike GGA, it's not a love at first sniff. I like, but not sure I could pull it off, as I'm not sure it would fit my personality... will have to waer it again before thinking at a full bottle. But for sure, I have to admit that it's really a new kind of masculine floral, very unique, that Gucci has issued here. Great job! Things were actually worst for women. The whole "Parfum" line, Acenti, Flora, Gucci by Gucci, and so on... i will never buy this again as there are so many fragrances that are better in every single way than this. Edit: 2 years later, I bought a bottle. On my skin, it's way more juniper/cypress forward than florals. In the base, it's a musky wood acccord, the violet and heliotrope, while noticeable, are more toned-down compared to the paper strip test.Projection is down as expected, and longevity is up. The base notes are the strongest here as expected again, so the opening isn’t meant to be super sharp or bright and attention grabbing, it’s all about the long game here… in that regard, this scent serves as an excellent foundation for layering as well. The smell is so weak, it actually smells watered down, as though there was once a semblance of a great smell but now it’s been watered down to within an inch of its life. It actually disappeared almost instantly, becomes a skin scent straight away, and that’s even after being very liberal with the sprays. Nothing!! Projection is non-existent too, such poor quality. I will say that there is some kind of creaminess about this scent that totally turns me off. It's most notable in the first 5 minutes. it's like a juniper/sandalwood mixture which triggers a nauseating response for me. Again, it doesn't last long - but it's definitely there. gucci guilty line is not the best in the history of fragrances, but not the worst for sure. this gucci guilty is a very good eau de toilette, not unique or masterpiece but a solid, safe product. the opening is very fresh and pleasant, an invitation to smelling. then the scent remains the same, maybe someone can say it is boring but there are many fragrances that after a great opening lost many points during the drydown. very good in spring/summer, good longevity and projection. u can wear it for dates or for office very easily. but u know, for we men the best judges are always the women, so if u want to buy this bring a girl with u and ask an opinion to her. i can recommend this fragrance, i cant say the same to the other guilty scents, the absolute version is something weird...grazie per l'attenzione carissimi!! I do not get any incense or scratchy chemical notes like I do from BdC or AdG Profumo. This is way more smooth and much more pleasing to me.

Guilty is a pleasant, clean, safe and likeable scent. However, if you don't like lavender or if you prefer strong fragrances, this is not for you. This is a beautiful fragrance. Generic, yes, but beautiful all the same. The orange and vanilla really come out to play on my skin, with an aura of lavender and patch, making this very masculine but slightly playful. Its sweetness makes it a year-rounder, but it's just fresh enough to make it really shine in the summer. It skirts this line between casual and formal. I bet this would make a great office scent, if you work in that environment, as it's mostly a skin scent. With that said- as my collection becomes more solidified and less experimental It's hard to find a place for this in my rotation- it's almost like a special reach fragrance if I have a crush on someone at work and I want to replace the uplifting elegant Bleu De Chanel EDP in the Spring until the co-worker takes the bait or turns me down lol. Today I tried the scent for the 3rd time. And all I can say is - not for me. I kinda think it is my skin that doesn`t want to match with this juice as it should; I refuse to believe that I don`t like this scent, although I really want to..But every once in a while, whether I like it or not, a mainstream fragrance just sits there on my wrist smelling unapologetically good so consistently that I can deny it no longer. This is one of those fragrances. I would have said they're trolling in the first place by calling it a "cologne"—yet it has no citrus in it whatsoever. You simply can't do by Italian heritage. I don't find that this has an entirely a bad style though. It feels very new age—like a Neo-style take on the Cologne style. Very artistic. Nice technique. Allow me to start with the positives here this is not just a cookie cutter, eau de cologne freshie. Nor is it the ultimately bland aroma chemical mess of a eros or Invictus, some small merciful praise can be bestowed upon Gucci Guilty Cologne for this fact. It's taken multiple wears but I can finally smell this more clearly, and best of all, for more than just an hour or two. It has told me, "shut-up, stop overthinking and just wear me" reminding me of the basic function of a perfume, and I have submitted to its commands. It has restarted everything for me and told me it is as much functional as it is art. I needed Gucci Guilty Cologne to remind me that perfume is equally an art as it is functional. I find it calming and addicting and it has become one of my favorite signatures to reach for this spring and summer. I look forward to also wearing it this fall and winter. Unique, avant-garde, but ultra-modern and clean. A misunderstood masterpiece in my opinion.

As time goes by,a bit creamy woody accord with dominant cedar comes into the game with a wisper of patchouli and with a hint of amber. the only real scenario where i can use this is at the gym. and even there, its just so f***ing boring. There is something so incredibly approachable and charming about GG. It's flirty, not pretentious, but also distinguished and confident. It invites you in, as its sillage and projection are not great, but it says "I'm here" instead of announcing "look at me". You will likely have to re-apply in the middle of the day, but it smells so good that I don't care. I'll reapply. Easy. i run my own business so i have no idea about office scents, but this would almost be it i guess. the problem is that its overpowering in a synthetic way. and ive smelt this on people before, and it never really fit them. its too soapy and constantly gives me the axe wibe, or way too much scented fabric softener.I find this fragrance to be very neutral toned overall. Light and breezy; non-offensive. Fresh—and subtly stimulating. With its qualities, it strongly feels like a fragrance that would be perfect for the office. However, something else about it feels like this was intended for gays. I'm trying as hard as I can to be optimistic about it. There is something else very nostalgic about this scent. It reminds me of a very grown-up version of a similar (although, not as well done) smelling body-spray that I wore as a teenager, whose name I don't even remotely remember, that my father probably bought me at Target. But GG buttons it up, and makes it adult-appropriate, instead of juvenile. So the opening is actually very fresh, truly aquatic, fresh a bit salty but with a steady decent into more floral territory. This is that violet leaf, dry ionones sort of tinge but if this was a violet fragrance I expect I would like it. I sampled this without prior knowledge of the notes and I KNEW there was heliotrope in here....I couldn't place the name and kept saying Angelica no...mimosa, no....artemisia no....what is it?? I knew what I meant and seeing it here just validates how prominent it is in this fragrance. Gucci had really turned a corner injecting life into this Guilty line with the divisive release Guilty Absolute (Men's one) which people either found to be a blissfully animalic leather or an inept, antiseptic, nightmare. Stranger still that it had come from the nose of Alberto Morillas, and this one does too, with the use of a note/accord seldom found in men's designer perfumes and that's Heliotrope. All this sets us up for an interesting fragrance and cologne is not without that merit let's just let it have this credit, before I rip it to shreds!
