Made with up to 55% Chardonnay and aged in cellars for a minimum of four years, La Cuvée is delicate yet complex with crisp citrus notes. It’s citrus and white fruit notes and its remarkable balance, supported by a subtle effervescence, make it an ideal accompaniment to poultry and the finest fish. He selects grapes from the best areas of the Champagne vineyards, vinifies each batch separately and monitors the blends with high standards. He has spent his whole career at Laurent-Perrier, from humble beginnings as a cellar worker, before rising to become a supervisor, then head of the cellar. The latter, widow and mother of four children, acquired the Domaine Laurent-Perrier and ran the business while two of her sons, Maurice and Bernard, joined the French Resistance.Perfectly balanced, with crisp flavours and finesse, it is also an ideal companion for fish, poultry and white meat.

This wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent‑Perrier to craft “La Cuvée”, a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars. Sappy and broad in the mouth, offering intense red fruit and bitter citrus flavors underscored by chalky mineral and white pepper notes.Sadly, de Nonancourt passed away in 2010 and Laurent-Perrier is now managed by his two daughters, Alexandra and Stéphanie alongside Cellar Master Michel Fauconnet and has become one of the region's largest producers, they are perhaps best known for Cuvée Rosé, the most recognised rosé champagne on the planet. When de Nonancourt launched Laurent-Perrier Rosé in 1968, he decided to present his creation in a uniquely distinctive bottle to magnify this very special cuvée. Although originally founded in 1812, the name Champagne Laurent-Perrier was not conceived until 1964. Laurent-Perrier maintain the quality of their non-vintage wines by limiting the release of vintage products to give their cuvees a high proportion of top-quality juice.
