About this deal

We had a lovely time with Whatever Next- first I read the story to Miles, then we read it again with his dad there too and Miles loved telling him what was happening and showing him the animals. Use the wonderful 'Whatever Next' story by Jill Murphy to complete this lovely adult lead activity - what would you want to take to the moon with you? Cardboard box play: Use a large cardboard box and make it into a rocket, a train or anything else your child wants!As you are watching or reading the story together, encourage your child to talk about what they can see on the page, or point to the pictures as you say what you can see. Set out a picnic tea on a blanket for your child dressed as Baby Bear on the moon, children canfind a few toys to join in. It opens up so many avenues for extended learning both indoors and out, it's taken us on a journey and we love it, we'll certaintly send in some pictures!
